A Delightful Treat from Max's Restaurant :)

I'm so pleased to be invited to the press launch of the newest promo of Max Restaurant :) It was held at Max Restaurant, Scout Tuason Quezon City. A little trivia for everyone here. Max Restaurant at Scout Tuason Quezon City is the very first Branch in the world.  While I was checking out the place, I feel at awe.  For about 30 or so years, the place is still standing tall and proud, inviting people to come and check out their delicious and one of a kind fried chicken and other best selling delicacies that only Max can serve right.

The first meal that was served in the said restaurant back in 1945 was prepared by no less that a Mother. Her most important ingredient in all her popular dishes was love. Her name was Nanay Ruby, Max's first cook, the woman who developed the recipe for most of Max's world famous dishes, including Max's "sarap to the bones" Fried Chicken.

I for one can vouch that Max Fried Chicken is really sarap to the bones. I can still remember back when I was still a kid, my mom would always take me to Max Restaurant and eat there after doing the grocery. Another thing that I like about Max's is their staff, they're very pleasant, always smiling, they're not hiding from the customers in case one would ask for a glass of water, most of the time they would even approach you and ask if there's anything that you may want to order or need.  The resto is superb. Clean, no smell of the kitchen type of thing and the table setting, very Filipino. It's like eating in your own home minus the table napkin. You will really feel at home when you eat at Max's Restaurant. It's a feel good restaurant, one that we always fail to check whenever we get the chance to eat out. I always take note of that.

The emcee of the said event is the very versatile host of the morning show "Unang Hirit". She is admired for her wit, intellect and adventurous nature. She is also a loving wife and mother to two kids Alisa Gabriel and Jaime Matteo, she is none other than Ms. Lyn Ching-Pascual.

Also present in the said event was Max's Assistant Marketing Manager for Dine In and Take Out Ms. Cathy Perez-See and Max' s Assistant Marketing Manager for Regional and Franchise Ms. Jessa Bien. Present as well is Ms. Rolyn Tumbaga, Corporate Sales and Business Development Manager for Body Shop. They gave all of us a brief discussion on the partnership of Max's Restaurant and premium brand Body Shop, about their latest luscious surprise for Moms out there. It's the Body Shop Shower Gel which is soap free, lather rich and fruit infused gel.  It's truly the perfect gift to pamper Moms out there.

According to Ms. Lyn Ching-Pascual, Max is more than just a food brand. It's a tradtion for a lot of Filipinos. This is where we nurture our relationships and celebrate the most important milestones in our lives - baptism, weddings, reunions,  and of course, Mother's Day.

I totally enjoyed the event, sumptuous classic Filipino dishes that is spread in the table from Kare Kare to Sinigang na Hipon and Fried Fish to Sarap to the  bones fried chicken and for dessert we had Buko Pandan! my favorite and so delicious.
