The 33rd Manila International Book Fair

Monday, September 10, 2012

The annual Manila International Book Fair begins on Wednesday, September 12 and runs until Sunday, September 16 at the SMX Convention Center. Lots of things happening: The Fair opens with Chef Bruce Lim's book signing from 5-6pm.

On Saturday, September 15,  it's Spot blogger Lourd de Veyra's turn. Storytelling with Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan happens on Friday September 14 from 4-5pm; Danny Acuna will be giving free sketches on the same day. And finally, Free Comic Book Day from 1:30-2pm on the festival's last day, September 16.

Performance artist Carlos Celdran declared himself a bookworm and talked about his favorite reads at the launch. Celdran takes on MIBF ambassador duties with viral video star Ramon Bautista, cartoonist and author Stanley Chi, and radio personality Tado.
The four are expected to make an appearance at the opening of the book fair
on September 12.

Can't wait to finally experience this one! :-) *excited* I'm not really a super bookworm but
I also love reading books, this past few years, I've been very busy which is why I wanted to go back to my stress busting ritual -> reading. I've already started with some of the latest books like The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Fifty Shades of Grey. :-)

My own version of the 33rd Manila International Book Fair
