Zendee Rose Tenerife, a.k.a. "Random Girl" At SM Megamall," made her U.S. TV debut on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" last Friday (October 26, 2012).
The 21-year-old Pinay received a standing ovation from the audience after she performed.
Zendee Rose became a Youtube sensation when a video of her belting out Houston‘s hit while trying out a karaoke microphone at a mall made its way on the popular video sharing. Her video has amassed more than 2 million hits and it also paved away for her to ink a recording deal.
Singer Charice made it into the global limelight after appearing on the show in 2007. Will Zendee Rose follow her footsteps?We sure hope so. :-) After all, we have a lot of great singers here in the Philippines :-) We are blessed to have only the best :-)
Apart from Charice and Zendee Rose, the show has also featured Filipino singers Arnel Pineda, Rhap Zalazar and Maria Aragon and host Ellen DeGeneres' Pinay housekeeper Mindy, who has her own segment on the show.
