Jacob to Bella..
"You seem so… you"
After a year of waiting, yes! It's finally here. The last part of the Twilight saga. Breaking Dawn 2. I can't say that I'm a die hard fan of the Twilight series. I just enjoyed watching the movie. I've been a big fan of vampire movies and watching the neck breaking- head twisting scenes gives me the adrenaline and the imaginary wishful thinking that, what if vampires do exist?:-) Although, I love the idea of having extreme strength powers just like the vampires here have, and the eternal life, I doubt if I my stomach won't mind living with the use of blood all my life.

What can we expect from Breaking Dawn 2? same as the first installments, fans of the shirtless Taylor Lautner can expect a longer run time of his abs. Two thumbs up!~ :-) Plus, the glittering vampires, more stares than dialogue and lastly, drama.

There was a cute part of the movie when Alice gifts the new couple a cute cabin in the woods where they can make love as equals for the first time. The cabin is really nice. Bella is worried about re-meeting her dad (Billy Burke) and keeping her new life a secret. Jake takes charge by going to Charlie and comically wolfing out telling him that Bella has “changed” as well. Freaked, Charlie meets Bella, who has donned brown contacts and, after meeting his charming granddaughter, he agrees to ask no questions. Actually, it was funny when he turned to Bella and he told her, "you're not going to turn into an animal aren't you?" :-)

Breaking Dawn 2 easily includes a straightforward plot and, instead of dwelling on the core of Bella, Edward, Jacob love triangle, manages to deliver a competent “war” story – complete with a fun cast of supporting heroes/villains and a finale that ends the current saga with a twist. ( I am totally hanging on my seat with the fight scenes. good job to the director Bill Condon! The effects are so-so but we can live with that. I just can't get enough of the fight scenes.

Mother love

So, why did they had a fight? When Irina of the Denali Clan (Maggie Grace) spots the fast-growing Renesmee (Mackenzie Foy) in the woods, she thinks “immortal child” and rants to the Volturi. Leader Aro (Michael Sheen) decides he now has a reason to get rid of the Cullens forever. He’ll bring the Volturi full force to Forks.

The climactic battle between the Cullens and the Volturi is considerably more vicious than the anti-climactic non-fight in the book.   There's a lot of Blood, be-headings and character deaths so hold your breath :-) On the battlefield, the combination of super-powered hero vampires, rough and tumble shape-shifting wolves, as well as blood-thirsty Volturi combatants, makes for a rousing last confrontation that is as outrageous as it is amusing (it would also make for a crazy drinking game: one drink for every decapitation). LOL :D

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2' (Review)

Condon shot Part 1 and Part 2 at the same time but the difference is staggering, as the latter installment is stronger in nearly every single way imaginable, with a focused story, higher production values, and a number of appealing setups.

Stephanie Meye and the director clearly wants the audience to know that it is the end of Bella and Edward's love story since they will live happily ever after, so they didn't dwell on that scenes anymore instead, they focussed on Renesmee and the vampire covens. Hello to the Volturi...let me just quote a line from the movie..

The Volturi are a family. A very old, very powerful family of our kind. They are the closest thing our world has to a royal family, I suppose.”
Clap clap clap! I love Dakota Fanning! She's fierce and I believe she can really portray
any role perfectly.

I think it's still worth the watch and the wait. Anyway, it's the last installment so bashers, give Twilight fans a break :-)

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is Rated PG-13 for sequences of violence including disturbing images, some sensuality and partial nudity.

Now playing in theaters. :-)

  1. A mind blowing plot and excellent performance by Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and obviously our werewolf Jacob aka Taylor Lautner. All the Renesmee plot, the fight of the Volturi was excellent and each and every actor has devoted their heart & soul into this movie which has made a large difference in the movie and has exceptionally redefined THE TWILIGHT SAGA!! An absolutely superhit package. The new vampy Bella Cullen was something pretty interesting to look forward to. A lot of notions have been changed about this movie after watching this epic finale.A perfect ending to the epic, but it would be very interesting if we get to see another flick focussing on Jacob & Renesmee. Out of words to express!!!!This is one such movie that you shouldn't miss and if you do its a big loss. I'd suggest spend your weekend with our vampire epic saga..!!!!!
