JUAN NIGHT with JOSE & WALLY: A Fund Raising Event in celebration of the World Thyroid Day

The Philippine Society of Nuclear Medicine (PSNM) is a society of physicians, medical technologists and allied professionals dedicated to the safe and beneficial uses of radionuclides by providing its members comprehensive education, training and opportunities for research, and by delivering quality services to the Filipino people.

They are Accredited by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC)

Recognized by the Philippine Medical Association as the specialty society for nuclear medicine in the Philippines

Affiliate member of the Philippine College of Physicians  

Duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)

Regulated locally by the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (PNRI)

Regulated internationally by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)

Their ACTIVITIES consists of:

Annual Scientific Convention and Fellowship
Residents’ In-Service Examination
Residents’ Research Paper Presentation (Undergraduate)
Residents’ Research Paper Presentation (Graduating)
Christmas Party
They also regularly join international scientific conferences abroad as attendees, resource persons or as participants in research paper competitions.

OUTREACH PROGRAM:

In line with its mission of providing quality services to the Filipino people, PSNM will be sponsoring 10 thyroid patients who are in need of low-dose Radioactive Iodine (RAI) Treatment.

The concert will benefit the following:

10 Indigent patients from all over the Philippines

Radioactive Iodine Treatment 

Cases of Graves’ Disease, Diffuse Toxic Goiter, Nodular Toxic Goiter, Diffuse Non-toxic Goiter, Nodular Non-toxic Goiter

Pre-approved and certified indigent by any NM Physician who is a member of PSNM


A low-dose RAI treatment usually costs anywhere from PhP 15,000 to PhP 25,000 – depending on the dose needed for the patient

The dose is determined by factors such as the condition of the patient, the size of the thyroid and/or nodule, the avidity for radioiodine, intake of medications, etc.

Total cost of the outreach: PhP 150,000 to PhP 250,000

Aside from the fun concert, attendees will also have the chance to win in their raffle.
All ticket holders are qualified to join the raffle;

Winners will be drawn on the event day 
(through their ticket numbers found at the bottom right of the tickets);
