The energy builds up once again as the country’s biggest pop-culture event looms over the horizon. The biggest and the best gather for three whole days of pure, unadulterated awesomeness. It’s time for TOYCON 2013, now on its 12th year!
TOYCON celebrates the best of pop culture with the most-awaited blockbuster movies, the latest in gaming, animation, comics, anime, manga and the hottest new toys and collectibles. The event gathers together collectors, cosplay enthusiasts, gamers, artists and musicians all bonded by a common passion. It is simply put, the biggest pop culture event in the country.
The event will be on June 14-16, 2013 at the SM Megatrade Halls 1,2,3 & Function Rooms A & B. The year’s highlights include the much-anticipated movies, Man of Steel and Pacific Rim.
The world’s first and greatest superhero, Superman, will be a huge presence in the show, with a gallery of the best Superman merchandise and collectibles surrounding the ultimate treat of having the original Man of Steel costume on display in the event.
Pacific Rim, the epic new movie from director, Guillermo del Toro also makes its monster presence felt with a huge display and a few surprises for the fans.
And for the fans of cosplay, TOYCON 2013 pulls out all the stops. In partnership with HERO TV the event will be the venue for the Ultimate Hero Face-off Cosplay competition which qualifies its winner to participate in the World Cosplay Summit in Japan.

TOYCON 2013 will generate a lot of excitement with the fans ensuring a multitude of attendees who will be eager to experience what is simply, the biggest event of the country for fans of pop-culture.
