GMA's newest morning series: With A Smile stars Andrea Torres, Mikael Daez and Christian Bautista

We all want to start our day with a big smile on our faces to jump start the day
with good vibes and the best way I can recommend is to watch a feel good serye from GMA Network that brings a wonderful mix of humor, charm and romance via an all-original morning program With A Smile.
Thankfully, I was invited to a very candid BlogCon of the newest morning program of
GMA 7 "With A Smile" and indeed without a doubt they are a bunch of shiny happy people
that will make you smile all day long as well once you get to watch their show.
With A Smile is a light and heartwarming family drama that has all the ingredients to delight the hearts of televsion viewers, young and old, with its endearing characters and romantic plotlines.
Following the success of their first team-up in Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga, Andrea and Mikael will once again show their chemistry on-screen as they breathe to life the characters that we will love.
Andrea Torres plays the role of Isay, a barrio lady who has a passion for cooking and will pursue her dreams for her family while Mikael Daez takes on the role of Dean, a man who believes that he's a disappointment in the family but will soon realize his worth after meeting the girl that will capture his heart.
Portraying an equally important role in the series is the newest Kapuso and Asia's Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista as he embarks in his first acting project in GMA as Aston, an independent, self-made business man who gets into a cat and dog fight with Isay but will soon fall in-love with her.
The Network's newest offering is a great avenue for Andrea, Mikael
and Christian to show not only their talents in drama but also their funny side that will surely bring a smile on everyone's face every weekday morning.
Joining the ensemble are talented artists Vince de Jesus, Miggs Cuaderno, RJ Padilla, Bryan Benedict, Soliman Cruz, Mamie Lapuz, Gilleth Sandico, Jak Roberto, Mikoy Morales, Shelly Hipolito and Kimpoy Feliciano.
We got the chance to interview them one by one to get to know them more as well as their characters in the new morning show. We learned that they all have to go through audition for the role, both Mikael and Andrea have already worked together in an afternoon program "Sana'y Ikaw Na Nga" which is why they already have this chemistry in on and off cam.
It was so nice to hear them talking about their candid moments while taping,
both Bryan and Shelly even said that they don't have any "ilangan" moment even if they are both "baguhan" since Christian, Mikael and Andrea are very friendly and at times would
help them with their scenes. Shelly even said that she though Andrea was a snob because of her past role but in real life it was the complete opposite and would often times bring food or kakanin on the set.
We also asked them some personal questions . For Mikael we all know that aside from acting he is also a Blogger. He admits that he is a social media person. He loves to get involved wqith anything that links with social media and he is very updated with almost anything which is I think is perfect because he also loves to write. He loves pancakes and for him the best pancake can be found in Pancake House *ehem* endorsement please! :) You can also catch him in his segment in Saksi "Midnight Snack" where he will feature food trips that can make you hungry and crave for something new.
As for Andrea, she was asked whether she preferred Aston (Christian Bautista) or Dean (Mikael Daez) for Isay. She said, “Wala pa nga eh. Nakakatawa kasi ang ganda ng eksena ni Christian, tapos biglang pagdating ni Mikael, ang ganda rin. Abangan na lang nila kung kanino mas mai-inlove si Isay."
When asked about her own love life, Andrea admitted that she is currently single, and taking things easy. She prefers to settle down when the right time comes. When asked if she would say yes if ever FHM would invite her to cover their pages and she said why not but for now she would love to enjoy first her wholesome image, "Pag nag daring na kasi ako na image, parang ang hirap na bumalik sa wholesome kaya i-enjoy ko muna yung wholesome roles then we'll see."
