Star Records recently launched the first ever album of Visayan singing group and "Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3" grand winner Maasinhon Trio.

Hailing from the humble town of Maasin City in Southern Leyte, Maasinhon Trio composed of Andrew Sanchez, Licinio Lolo and Bonifacio Salubre, made history on 2011 as the first act from the Visayas to win the competition following season one's Jovit Baldivino and season two's Marcelito Pomoy who both came from Luzon.

Bonifacio Salubre
(Fire Officer)

Licinio Lolo
(Government Employee)

Andrew Sanchez
(Works Southern Leyte Electric Cooperative)

Before the group won the title of Pilipinas Got Talent in its third season, they sing in weddings, birthdays and other occasions, but they have day jobs. Lolo works with the provincial government, Sanchez is a warehouse chief in the Southern Leyte Electric Cooperative and Salubre is a fire officer.

The trio, who is also the oldest grand winner for Pilipinas Got Talent, garnered 22.59% of the total text and online votes to be declared winner of the Pilipinas Got Talent season 3 and took home the grand prize of ₱2 million.

The trio was also compared to another trio, APO Hiking Society, a veteran Filipino musical group composed of Jim Paredes, Danny Javier and Boboy Garovillo because of their good rendition of the songs they perform.

Up until now, they still can't believe their luck in winning the said competition, they feel blessed for the opportunities coming their way and excited with their album. They will be having mall tours to promote their album soon.

Alot has changed since they won the contest, the three of them admitted that they feel
delighted every time people recognized them, now they are used to wearing formal clothes, they also dream of teaming up someday with their favorite music icons like Nonoy Zuniga, Martin Nievera and Lea Salonga.

Featured in Maasinhon Trio's self-titled debut album are classic Pinoy love songs including 'Kahit Isang Saglit,' 'Sana'y Ikaw Na Nga, wHanggang,' Rey Valera Medley, and their carrier single 'Patuloy Ang Pangarap.'

Maasinhon Trio's first album is now available at all record bars nationwide.
