The Miss World Philippines 2013 winners have been proclaimed during the pageant's coronation ceremony held Sunday night at the Solaire Resort and Casino in Pasay City. The event was telecast on GMA-7.

The 23-year-old Filipina-American will represent the Philippines in the Miss World 2013 pageant in Indonesia in September.
Young is an alumna of Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 and starred in several ABS-CBN shows including "Precious Hearts Romances," "Maalaala Mo Kaya" and "Betty La Fea."
She earlier said that joining the Miss World Philippines was one of the things she had always wanted to do.
