Barbie Forteza Celebrated a Surprise Birthday Party from her GMA Artist Center Family

Last August 1, Kapuso star Barbie Forteza celebrated her 16th birthday with a
surprise birthday party from her beloved Kapuso family thanks to her GMA Artist Center
family who threw this nice party for her at a posh hotel (Luxent Hotel) in Timog.
Her family, friends, loyal fans and media graced birthday party.
Barbie doesn't really know that GMA Artist Center will be throwing a birthday party for her that day, all she knew was that there will be a product meeting
for her latest endorsement, little did she know that once she open that door
at Luxent Hotel where the party will be held, she will be totally surprised and she was!
The Birthday party was hosted by fellow actor Ken Chan. Barbie looks so fresh and vibrant with her green floral dress. She truly looks sweet 16.
Barbie's mom got a bit emotional while greeting her, she told us how nice Barbie is and that she's always there to support their family all the way. Barbie then admitted to everyone that she celebrated her birthday with her family and Derrick Monasterio last July 31 after Anna
Karenina packed up early. Derrick gave her a silver bracelet and she was wearing
it on that day.
According to David Fabros, Talent Head of GMA Artist Center, they made the right decision with Barbie since he knew even the first time he saw her that there was something unique about her and indeed he was right. He also reminded Barbie to stay humble and do not forget gratitude. It pays to look back where you started.
Barbie's fans even gave her a scrapbook type of memorabilia as remembrance of their
bonding moments with Barbie. She was also chosen by Haribon Foundation to be their
latest ambassador. Apparently she was clueless about it but still she can't help
feeling excited about the new project. She said that she always wanted to be part of any organization, likewise, she will also be celebrating her birthday at Philippine Children's
Hospital just like what she did last year.
Joyce Ching and Joshua Dionisio were also present at Barbie's birthday and they all wished her well on her 16th birthday. It was also a surprise for Barbie to see
Joshua who has been her love team before.
Barbie's wish on her birthday is pretty simple. More projects on her acting career.
She also wantedt to test herself and try different roles like fantasy and action.
She said she is very willing to train if that's what it takes for her to gain that role.
Happy 16th Birthday again Barbie! :-)
