Karylle Launches New Album Entitled "K"

Karylle makes Filipinos smile and enjoy their wee hours in the afternoon via their noontime show Showtime and at the same time busy as we also get to watch her as Cinderella via her musical play at the Resorts World Newport Performing Arts Theater.
She also played a big role in the musical series The Kitchen Musical.

Now, we get to see and hear her versatility as she launch her new album "K" under Polyeast Records. It was launched last November 16 at Glorietta 5 activita center with all her beaming fans waiting for her. It was a night full of energy and really nice music. I really liked all the songs in her album, it was a new flavor for me coming from Karylle because I always see her perform love songs. With this new album, it was all dance-able.
According to Karylle,
“Every album is a blessing because you get to share parts of yourself to more people,” says Karylle. “I hope people will enjoy the fruits of our labor.”
Her new album features different genres from pop to slow song. She shows her fun side in the catchy pop tune and carrier single “Kiss You,” edgy in the modern upbeat tune “Bad Boys” (which she penned and has a remix version by DJ MOD), sentimental in the ballad “Kapiling Ka,” pays tribute to her musical roots in “In My Own Little Corner” (from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella), among others.
The album also includes Karylle’s 2013 Philpop entry “Sa’yo Na Lang Ako.” which she says her first time to experience joining a singing contest and even though they didn't win, it was still a great experience for her.
