It's official! ABS CBN finally announced who will play the most coveted and iconic role for DYESEBEL and that is no other than Ms. ANNE CURTIS.
According to Sunstar news, The "It's Showtime" host will be joined by ex-boyfriend Sam Milby and Gerald Anderson. The announcement was made Thursday afternoon at the ABS CBN compound.

Anne Curtis is not new to the mermaid character as she portrayed a similar role in ABS-CBN's 2008 fantasy series "Dyosa." But in Dyosa, she also played different roles such as a centaur and a harpy.
Anne said that it's a dream come true for her to play the fictional comic book character created by novelist Mars Ravelo. ABS CBN finally acquired 13 exclusive titles of Mars Ravelo which includes DARNA, CAPTAIN BARBEL & DYESEBEL.
Among those who took on the role in the big screen are Vilma Santos (1973), Alice Dixson (1990), and Charlene Gonzales (1996). Marian Rivera, on the other hand, played the role in the GMA 7's television adaptation in 2008.
