Ascott Celebrates 30 Years Of Hospitality Excellence

CapitaLand’s wholly-owned serviced residence unit, The Ascott Limited (Ascott), continues to extend its global footprint in the Philippines as it celebrates its 30th anniversary with special promotions for its customers that include discounted rates and free nights.

Ascott, which pioneered Asia-Pacific’s first international-class serviced residence in 1984, established its presence in the Philippines with the opening of Somerset Millennium Makati in 2000.  It has since gained a strong foothold in the Philippines with more than 1,500 serviced residence units across eight operating and upcoming properties.

Ascott has also garnered numerous awards in the Philippines. At the 2013 World Travel Awards for Asia & Australasia, Ascott The Residence and Ascott Makati respectively won ‘Leading Serviced Apartment Brand’ and ‘Leading Serviced Apartments’ in the Philippines.  Ascott Makati was among the top three serviced residences in Asia-Pacific along with other Ascott properties in the 2013 Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Awards.  Both Ascott Makati and Somerset Millennium Makati have received TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence for four years in a row.
