Janine Gutierrez Celebrated her 25th Birthday with Fans and Elmo Magalona

Kapuso actress Janine Gutierrez turned 25 last October 2, but the celebration did not stop there. GMA Artist Center joined forces with fan groups, JaninElmonatics and JaninElmo Paris Chapter to make Janine’s post-birthday celebration possible.
The event was held in Center Stage, Tomas Morato and hosted by comedienne Tess Bomb. Members from both fan groups were present. Different bloggers and entertainment writers also joined the special event.
The birthday girl arrived in a classy long-sleeved blouse and leather skirt, overjoyed by the sight of all the fans who welcomed her.
She gamely played party games with the fans. There were performances from the fans. Janine sang More Than Words for them.
In the middle of the song, Elmo Magalona arrived with a bouquet of flowers and the couple sweetly sang together.
Then, an audio-visual presentation by the fans was shown while every member of each fan club went up on stage to give Janine a rose.
Janine was deeply touched and Elmo joined the fans in singing “Happy Birthday” to Janine. After Villa Quintana, the two will be paired again in the upcoming series, More Than Words.
What is Janine’s birthday wish? She said, “Wish ko na maging successful ‘yung More Than Words. ‘Yun ‘yung birthday wish ko talaga kasi I consider it as a birthday gift kasi nagsimula siya kasabay ng birthday ko.”
Elmo also shared his wishes for Janine on her special day. “Marami akong wish for her. Dito pa lang makikita na nagkakatotoo ‘yung mga wishes niya kasi talagang ‘yung hard work niya and dedication ngayon, talagang nagiging successful siya. Wala lang, I just want her to be happy all the time,” he said.
What gift did Elmo give Janine on her birthday? He replied, “Actually, hindi naman ako materialistic when it comes to giving gifts. Not always, but this year, pinakita ko lang ‘yung effort ko. Nag-dinner kami.” Janine said, “Na-surprise ako kasi noong birthday ko, nasa GMA kami para sa plug shoot at sa pictorial [ng More Than Words], so whole day ‘yun mga hanggang 9. In-expect ko after na wala nang gagawin tapos biglang may dinner pala.” Elmo added, “Makita ko lang siyang masaya noong araw na iyon, ‘yun na ‘yung achievement.”
