Dream Dad Premieres on November 24 after TV Patrol!

ABS-CBN’s newest feel-good family drama series “Dream Dad” is set to bring positive vibes on primetime TV beginning Monday (November 24). The upcoming teleserye will introduce the newest ‘Kapamilya couple,’ Zanjoe Marudo and Kapamilya child actress Jana Agoncillo.
“Dream Dad” will revolve around the story of its two main characters— Baste (Zanjoe), a hot bachelor who is trying to mend his broken heart by focusing on his family’s welfare, and Baby (Jana), a young orphan who is searching for a family that will love and fully accept her.
Last November 14, the cast of Dream Dad held a grand PressCon. They are all very excited with their upcoming Teleserye especially the new child wonder Jana Agoncillo who auditioned for the role.
It will not be Zanjoe's first time to portray a Father role, his Father role on Annaliza with Andrea Brillantes was a big hit, Andrea even said on the interview that she misses Zanjoe and for her, he was the best Father.
This time, according to Zanjoe, even though he had portrayed a Father role before, in Dream Dad, the story is quite different. In Annaliza, he portrayed a poor father figure to Andrea while on Dream Dad, he will be portraying a rich businessman which is why he had to go on a workshop and do a research on how rich families and tycoons act and what are their mannerisms, how they talk and their gestures.
Part of the cast is the new Kapamilya star Maxene Magalona who said she feels grateful to ABS CBN for giving her a nice project and giving her a chance to work with big stars especially with Zanjoe. Even though she will be playing a kontrabida role again, this time it will not be that heavy.
After Pure Love, Yen Santos is part of the cast of Dream Dad, with overwhelming projects coming from ABS CBN, Yen said that she will certainly give her best so that the network will feel that the enormous projects given to her is really worth it.
Beauty Gonzales shared that the she is happy with continuous work from ABS CBN and also admitted that she is very much happy and in love right now but is taking it slow.
Joining Zanjoe and Jana in “Dream Dad” are sina Maxene Magalona, Beauty Gonzales, Yen Santos, Ana Feleo, Katya Santos, Ketchup Eusebio, Ariel Ureta, and Gloria Diaz. It is under the direction of Jeffrey Jeturian.
“Dream Dad” is produced by the team behind the phenomenal morning romantic comedy series “Be Careful With My Heart” and the recently concluded primetime teleserye “Pure Love.”
