My Big Bossing Showing on December 25! Official Entry to the 2014 MMFF

Wednesday, December 24, 2014

A day before Christmas and almost everyone of us are excited to celebrate the birth of Christ with our family and love ones! There are surely plenty of ways to celebrate this moment but the most important thing is, to bond with your love ones on that special day.
One perfect bonding idea is to watch the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival. One of the official entry is "My Big Bossing" which stars one of the biggest Icon and Box Office King no less than Bossing Vic Sotto together with other cast like Marian Rivera, Nikki Gil and
Ryzza Mae Dizon.

Bloggers got the chance to interview the cast during My Big Bossing BlogCon where Bossing Vic, Ryzza Mae, Alonzo son of Nino Muhlach are present. They all mentioned how excited they are for the upcoming MMFF especially to this film because the public will surely love it.
Directed by acclaimed directors Tony Y. Reyes, Marlon Rivera, Joyce Bernal. Starring Vic Sotto, Ryzza Mae Dizon, Marian Rivera, Nikki Gil, Pauleen Luna, Alonzo Muhlach, Niño Muhlach, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Manilyn Reynes and more.
In “Sirena,” Ryzza Mae’s dream to be a mermaid is fulfilled. She reportedly came up with this story. Ryzza even took swimming and scuba diving lessons to prepare for the part.
In “Taktak,” she plays a psychic who talks to spirits. But mind you, it's not really a horror episode. In “Prinsesa,” she portrays a poor girl who grew up in a pig pen. She then turns out to be a princess.

Vic said he made sure that they have a better product this MMFF season.

Meanwhile, Vic commended Ryzza's  dedication in working on their film. The child star will portray three roles in the film and one of these is the role of a mermaid. He related that Ryzza was determined at learning the mermaid swim, which is necessary for the character.
Vic also believes that in this film, Ryzza will be “proving herself of being a very good actress, hindi lang puro pa-cute.”

"Kaya kong ipagmayabang dito na kung nag-enjoy sila sa 'My Little Bossings,' triple ang makukuha nila dito sa pelikula. That I can promise, I can guarantee that," he said.

"Lahat kinonsider namin kahit sa post production na. I'm confident na pag napanoon mo na yung pelikula, doon mawawala yung pressure. Alam na namin yung gusto ng tao, nag-enjoy sila sa iba naming pelikula kaya nawawala yung pressure once nag-start na."

Vic said he still feels nervous and pressured as well about the performance of his film in the box office even if his previous films, including last year's MMFF entry "My Little Bossings", did well.

"I try not to think about it. I know the pressure is there, kung magustuhan kaya ng mga tao. But nung pinag-uusapan pa lang ito, marami na kaming pinag-usapan kung ma-appreciate ba ito ng lahat ng tao," he said.

"My Big Bossing" and the rest of the MMFF entries will grace the silver screen starting Christmas Day, December 25.
Produced by Octoarts, MZET, and  APT Entertainment.
