Viva Films is set to make your nights darker as they release the movie starring Andi Eigemann, John Estrada and Christopher De Leon in "Tragic Theater".

“Tragic Theater” is a movie based on G.M. Coronel's same-titled novel about the exorcism at the Manila Film Center. Veteran and award winning director Tikoy Aguiluz directed the movie.

The movie is about a group of spirit communicators who attempted to exorcise ghosts from the ill-fated Manila Film Center in 1999.

More than a hundred workers were feared buried alive when a portion of the said venue collapsed while it was being built in 1981, during the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos’ regime.

Its trailer was initially given X rating by the Movie Television Review and Classification Board twice because it was "too scary." Eventually, the movie was approved.

According to Andi, this will be her first time to be part of a horror film and although she experienced an accident when she fall of the harness while shooting the movie, all is well and the experience taught her a lot of things. She feels also blessed to worked with great actors like Christopher De Leon, John Estrada and Director Tikoy Aguiluz.

Andi will play the role of Annie Francisco who was assigned to restore the film center and also cast away the rumored spirits roaming freely in the said area.

Tragic Theater opens January 8 in cinemas nationwide!
