Dream Dad Continues to Soar High with Ratings

Monday, March 16, 2015

The cast of Dream Dad held a thanksgiving presscon to show how much they appreciate all the support they received for the high ratings of Dream Dad. Zanjoe Marudo, Ketchup Eusebio, Katya Santos, Beauty Gonzales and Jana Agoncillo were present that day. They were all smiles while greeting the media and press that night.

Zanjoe shared how much he enjoyed playing the role of Baste via Dream Dad. When asked who now is his favorite between Jana and Andrea, he said that both were very talented and close to his heart. He couldn't choose just one because they are both very lovable and fun to work with.

Above all, he enjoys working with everyone through this project because the ambiance is very light and he feels comfortable working with each of them especially with Beauty because they're a hot tandem right now, fans even made them a code name like "BasLex" just to show their support.

Beauty turned a bit emotional because he really treasures this project simply because this is her first big role and she appreciates the fact that ABS CBN trusted her for this role which is why she also gave her very best. She added that she is also grateful to Zanjoe because he's been very supportive since Day 1. For Beauty, she considers Zanjoe as one of her dream partner in the big screen since he is very good looking, amazing actor and very talented as well.

Meanwhile, “Dream Dad” recently reached its newest all-time high national TV rating of 34.9% last Thursday (March 12) despite having a new rival on its timeslot. According to data from Kantar Media, it is almost double than its new rival program in GMA, “Pari Koy” which only got 17.8%.

“TV viewers should watch to find out if Baste will succeed in adopting Baby and finally become her legal father. They should also look forward to Baste, Alex, and Paul’s (Matt Evans) love triangle, and the blossoming relationship of Make (Ketchup Eusebio) and Precious (Katya Santos),” Zanjoe added.

“Dream Dad” also stars Gloria Diaz, Ariel Ureta, Yen Santos, Maxene Magalona, Ces Quesada, Atoy Co, and Dante Ponce. It is under the direction of Alan Chanliongco and Jeffrey Jeturian.
