Tuesday, March 17, 2015

Rocco Nacino has definitely come a long way after joining the 5th season of Starstruck, GMA 7's reality search show. He's not just your regular actor seen on tv screen but he's also a registered nurse. From his boy next door image, he has grown into one of the most sought after leading man that is versatile when it comes to acting and can very well own the dance floor anytime of the day.

Enrico Raphael Quiogue Nacino or better known as Rocco Nacino, celebrated his 28th birthday with the Pediatric Cancer patients of Bahay Aruga in Manila. Most of them were kids. Although Rocco didn't really find the idea of sharing this charity event with the media since it should be kept privately because he doesn't want people to get the notion that this should be sensationalized, it's one way also of inspiring others to share their blessings.

The event was gosted by no less than Tess Bomb and there were a lot of activities for the children that day. Rocco was so glad that he can spend this day with the children and not only that with his family as well.

Rocco was with his family that day and according to him, they've been doing charity events even before he entered showbizness. Bahay Aruga and the kids were all close their family's heart simply because they know what they're going through. Rocco's Mom, Ms. Linda Nacino is a Cancer Survivor and she is a living proof that God moves in powerful ways, all you've got to do is have faith.

Check out his family's birthday message for him:
The Birthday celebration started with an inspiring prayer from the kids of Bahay Aruga. The house provides free accomodation to Pediatric Cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at the Philippine General Hospital which is just a few minutes walk from the House. Most of these patients live outside Metro Manila and travel to Manila to get the best cancer treatment not available in the provinces. Which is why they feel blessed for the kind hearted people who continuously support them in every way possible.

Also present during his birthday celebration were Roccofellas, Rocco's solid supporters who are always there to support him in his every project or cause.

When we asked him what his birthday wish was, right now he said, all he can wish for is quick recovery for the kids. Aside from this, he asked for more blessings to come so that he will be able to share more to those who are needy, he added that these should be playing and having the time of their lives, but instead they're at Bahay Aruga.

Rocco performed a dance number for the kids:
They were games for the kids and the best part is Rocco is the one busy distributing the food to everyone around. Grimace of Mcdonald's even performed to the kids which made them even more delighted.

Even though it's Rocco's birthday, he is the one busy sharing all this blessings to everyone that is present at Bahay Aruga. These gifts are perfect for the kids since they can use it while they're studying and can also help them support their medical needs.

When asked what is Lovi's gift to him on his birthday he said smiling, "Wala pa eh, panay nga kulit nya sa akin ano daw gusto ko, sabi ko sa totoo lang di ko alam. Ganun kasi ako, pag tinatanong ako, di ko talaga alam ang isasagot. Mas importante kasi sa akin presence ng love one, family ganun, malaking gift na sa akin yun. Hindi mahalaga sa akin materyal na bagay." According to him, on their first anniversary as a couple, they will travel to Palawan for four days and he is very excited about this trip.
