Monday, April 06, 2015

Last March 29, the cast of Yagit welcomed summer by having a show at Enchanted Kingdom with the kids from He Cares Foundation.

He Cares Foundation is a Christian non-profit organization that helps extremely poor street children in Metro Manila, Philippines by providing basic needs like food, clothing, education and medical assistance, as well as spiritual support. It was founded by full-time lay missionaries, Joe Dean Sola & his wife, Ardis in 1996.

The foundation reaches several areas in Quezon City namely: Agham, Project 6, Looban, Tala, Sauyo, NIA, Forestry and Tandang Sora.  Lastly they also help a community in Montalban.

Some of the major cast who went to support the Summer fun at Enchanted Kingdom were: Chlaui Malayao, Jemwell Ventinilla, Judie Dela Cruz, Zymic Jaranilla, Steph Yamut, Renz Fernandez, James Blanco, Maricris Garcia, Ina Feleo, Kevin Santos, LJ Reyes, Yasmien Kurdi, at Bettinna Carlos.

Before the show started, their were party games & prizes for the kids. Aside from this, He Cares Foundation was also given some appliances like electric fan and more for them to use.
After the program, the kids also enjoyed unlimited rides at Enchanted Kingdom.

Maricris Garcia who plays Ce Ce Ortega sung 2 songs for the kids. Everyone really enjoyed her version of Ariana Grande's "Break Free" and Adelle's "Rolling in the Deep".

Yagit stars Chlaui Malayao, Jemwell Ventinilla, Judie Dela Cruz, Zymic Jaranilla & Steph Yamut performed a dance number that everyone enjoyed to the tune of Uptown Funk. These kids are born talented and they really know how to give their very best.

LJ Reyes who portrays Flora Macabuhay in Yagit performed a dance number "Bang Bang" which made that afternoon even more exciting.

Last but definitely not the last, our very own Yasmien Kurdi who portrays Dolores Macabuhay in Yagit performed a song number "All about that Bass" and mind you, this is live! She is very talented and very versatile as well. Not only did she just sung for the kids and the audience but she also went down the stage to greet everyone and even took selfie with the people around.

This is one way of thanking the fans for supporting Yagit. It was indeed a meaningful celebration.
