51st SM Cinema Now Open at SM City San Mateo!

SM Lifestyle and Entertainment, Inc. continues to rise their empire as it opens its 51st SM Cinema at the newly launched SM City San Mateo, Rizal. I happen to pass by San Mateo a lot and I totally feel overjoyed that finally, SM is within our reach as well. Now residents near the area can experience greater heights with what SM Cinema can offer them.
SM Cinema San Mateo re-introduced “Winema,” which stands for We Interact with the Cinema. A live interactive pre-movie game, Winema is propelled by a motion sensitive camera that is installed inside the theatre. The camera allows movie goers to play a game by waving their hands in the air, left and right, to control the characters in the screen. SM Cinema San Mateo is the only theatre to carry Winema permanently.
Aside from Winema, SM City San Mateo offers the best seats for your most awaited films.
Bigger theaters, comfortable seats and larger screens. It has four cinema theaters with a total seating capacity of 1,240. We got the chance to experience this when we watched Avengers: Age of Ultron at their cinema and the experience was awesome.

Viva Artist Meg Imperial is also present during the grand opening, she will have an upcoming horror movie entitled "Chain Letter" produced by Viva Films which is perfect to watch here at SM Cinemas!
SM Cinema San Mateo is the third SM Cinema to open in Rizal, following SM City Taytay and SM City Masinag. SM Cinema had previously opened its 50th branch in SM Mega Center, Cabanatuan last April 24. Including San Mateo, SM Cinema counts 285 screens nationwide.
