Manny Pacquiao is still the PEOPLE'S CHAMP

Monday, May 04, 2015

The fight of the century has finally ended and no matter what the result is,for me I belive Manny Pacquiao is still the undefeated champion.  Like millions of our countrymen, thousands of fans in Manny Pacquiao’s hometown in the southern Philippines were left disheartened and dejected Sunday afternoon, after our hero and champion lost to Floyd Mayweather in the “fight of the century” by unanimous decision. But the thing is,not only Filipinos were sad about this but across the globe, there were people out there who are all behind Manny's back till the end and we really got your back Pacman!

Manny and his achievements:
Manny Pacquiao is the first and only 8 division world champion in which he has won ten world titles, as well as the first to win the lineal championship in four different weight classes. According to Forbes, he was the 14th highest paid athlete in the world as of 2013.and was named "Fighter of the Decade" for the 2000s (decade) by the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA), World Boxing Council (WBC) and World Boxing Organization (WBO).

Manny was long rated as the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world by some sporting news and boxing websites, including ESPN, Sports Illustrated, Sporting Life, Yahoo! Sports, About.com, BoxRec and The Ring.

Not only did he bring honor to our country, Philippines but he also is a good mentor to all of us to stay humble, have faith in God, never forget to pray through good times or bad times and love your family. I also salute Manny's wife Jinkee Pacquiao who stands besides him when he has nothing and even up until now that he has everything, I want to tell her, "Girl, you're every man's dream wife." Manny "Pacman" Pacquaio truly deserve a hero's
welcome and we can't wait for his much awaited come back in the Philippines after his vacation.

We are so proud of you and for us you are still the champion!
