Para sa Hopeless Romantic: An intimate interview with the cast and JaDine

Bloggers got an awesome privilege of having an intimate interview with the cast of Para sa Hopeless Romantic at the Viva Office with Aj Muhlach, Shy Carlos, James Reid, Nadine Lustre, Marcelo Santos III author of the book and Direk Andoy Ranay.
Aj Muhlach and Shy Carlos will also play an important role in Para sa Hopeless Romantic.
Aj is part of the boy band XLR8 and he already did some tv projects like P.S. I Love You, and Bagets. He was also part of other successful movies of Viva Films like Diary ng Panget, Talk Back and You're Dead and now Para sa Hopeless Romantic where he play the role of RJ.
Shy Carlos on the other hand is a Swiss-Filipino actress who have done several projects as like like Bagets, Annaliza and Be Careful with my Heart. She used to be a part of a female group Pop Girls and became a VJ at MTV Pinoy too. Now, she's part of Para sa Hopeless Romantic movie as Jackie Reyes, Becca's friend.
Both of them said that they are indeed a hopeless romantic and they enjoyed working with
the two power love teams especially with Direk Andoy who taught them a lot of things.
It's not everyday that you get to meet a very humble author who traced us back where he started, according to Marcelo, it was not easy. He wrote Para sa Hopeless Romantic in a yellow pad paper and he never thought that it will be this big. When Viva offered to publish the book, his dream finally came true but making it a movie was an even bigger dream came true. He added that it took a long time before it all sink in that the book he wrote will be finally hitting the theaters with big stars on it. He feels very blessed because after all he went through, this was all worth it.
Marcelo added that everyone can relate to Para sa Hopeless Romantic. Whether you are single, fixing a broken heart or in love, this is the perfect story for you. When I asked him what he feels since he is one of the est selling author nowadays, does he feel privilege to be responsible for encouraging the youth of today to read more and he answered with a smile that he is indeed feel grateful and happy that he can encourage this generation to read more and influence them in a much better light. He even feel flattered that Ms. Kris Aquino gave him a two thumbs up with his book. He wants everyone who reads his book to be inspired that Love is a great feeling that we all learn in the process and we get to experience something that is worth the pain or whatever the outcome may be.
This power love team has gone a long way and we can say after Diary ng Panget, the rest is history. Truly, Nadine and James proves that even though they don't have any relationship, their love team has been gaining popularity and up until now, their supporters continues to grow. This time around, James and Nadine said that their characters in Para sa Hopeless Romantci are more mature when it comes to love, more #Hugot for everyone who experience heartaches.
Both Nadine and James said that their characters were relatable since they both experience something that they're characters have gone through. It was much easier for them to portray it. But they wouldn't have done it perfectly without the guidance of Direk Andoy who was there for them from Diary ng Panget till now.
Para sa Hopeless Romantic willalso feature a kissing scene of James and Nadine and at first both of them were a bit hesitant but Direk Andoy told them that it will make the scene more "kilig". Since they've worked in the past, they feel comfortable with each other which is why the kissing scene part is just like one of those scenes they have to do for the good of the movie. It was in that scene where they were eating tuyo and Direk Andoy said while laughing, "ayun, para maiba naman lasang tuyo ang kiss nila. " For sure everyone will be looking forward to this scene.

In “Para sa Hopeless Romantic”, James plays Nikko while Nadine is Becca. They used to be lovers but they broke up as they have different beliefs about love. Nikko is optimistic that they might reconcile but Becca is actually very bitter about their breakup. In an alternative reality that exists only in Becca’s mind, Julia Barretto and Iñigo Pascual play lovers Maria and Ryan who represent the true state of Becca’s heart.
