V. Group inaugurates new office in Manila

V.Group the world leading independent maritime services provider, has celebrated the inauguration of its new office and training facility in Manila.
V.Group specializes in the outsourced technical management of high value maritime assets and the provision of a wide-range of specialize technical, workforce and commercial services, and operates in the commercial shipping, cruise, energy and deference sectors.
The recently opened new office occupies 6,700sq meters over 5 floors of the impressive Aseana 2 building and employs 270 full time management and admin staff.
It has become the single biggest investment by the V.Group in its history and is intended to become a centre of excellence for the Group.
The new opening is testament to the importance of the Philippines as the principal recruitment ground for professional crew in the world. V.Group Representative Philippines, Jamie Stewart commented: “These new state of the art offices will increase our capacity to manage and train seafarers with a wide range of skills. We are now able to offer a service facility which is second to none and includes recruitment, technical training, culinary training, operations, commercial, purchasing, technical support, and IT which positions the Group at the heart of not only Asia, but the global shipping community.
