San Miguel Pure Foods believes that aside from dining out, foodies  should come home and hone their talents when it comes to cooking. Using their passion for food as their main ingredient to create their very own food experience.

During the Blogger's launch, we were able to meet the top caliber chefs that will work side by side with Drew Arellano. Meet the Chefs Llena Tan-Arcenas, Rene Ruz and RJ Garcia.

San Miguel Pure Foods products that will be featured on
the upcoming episodes

Since it was a Foodie event,we were able to have a feast of some of the best dishes that will be featured on Home Foodie showcasing San Miguel Pure Foods products.

I super enjoyed all the food that was served to us but my ultimate favorite is the Chicken Adobo Rice with Kang Kong! It was superb and I intend to do it at home and prepare it to my family as well since Chef RJ also presented to us how to cook it step by step.

Check out the video below:

After tasting all the food, Home Foodie dishes are truly, " Masarap, Masustansya at
kayang-kaya!"

“We want newbies to be excited in cooking,” Ms. Arcenas said before adding they are also targeting “foodies” -- or anyone with “a zest for discovering exciting new flavors” according to a company press release -- hence the name.

“There are a lot of foodies... they are really active on social media... that’s a huge market right there, the time of the show is also perfect because we are targeting those Moms or Dads even yuppies who wants to cook our featured dishes and will still have time to go to the grocery or palengke before cooking lunch or even dinner” said the chef.

The show will have its own social media counterparts where viewers can see the recipes if they happen to miss then in the short three-minute show.

“The trend is into shorter, quicker cooking shows,” Ms. Arcenas said, explaining that San Miguel isn’t a newbie when it comes to cooking shows and they’ve done shows anywhere from 30-minutes to an hour.

Drew Arellano is the perfect host for the show because he has wide mass appeal, very adventurous and a true blood foodie, in fact he also loves to cook. He can truly inspire everyone especially men to enjoy food and spend more time in the kitchen by means of cooking budgeting money for good and quality food.

Home Foodie will start airing on Aug. 10, Mondays to Fridays, after Unang Hirit
(7:30 a.m.) on GMA7 and beginning Aug. 15, every Saturday and Sunday (11:30 a.m.)
within Balitanghali on GMA News TV.
