Miguel Tanfelix and Bianca Umali to launch “Pass-A-Book ni BiGuel” project

GMA’s prized talents and now Kapuso Reading Ambassadors, Miguel Tanfelix and Bianca Umali, will launch the “Pass-A-Book ni BiGuel” project, a campaign dedicated to encourage passion for reading among the Filipino youth.

Through the first series of book drives at GMA Network, Lyceum of the Philippines Cavite, and SM Baliwag, Bianca and Miguel started collecting book donations, particularly story books for their fellow youth aged 15 to 21 years old. These books will be brought to the first stop of the “Pass-A-Book ni BiGuel” campus tour, which will be announced soon.

The concept of “Pass-A-Book ni BiGuel” is simple. Collected books from one school will be donated to the next school. But, in exchange of the donation, students must also give one pre-loved book each. These will again be collected and donated to the next school. This act promotes the value of sharing, helping others, and the importance of reading.

Aside from the campus tour, anyone can create a “Pass-A-Book Club” in their own school or circle of friends. “Pass-A-Book” experiences can be shared online through the page facebook.com/BiGuelPassABook, which Bianca and Miguel will personally moderate.

Share the love, pass a book, and experience the joy of
reading with Bianca and Miguel.
