Buena Familia Set Visit: Meet Julie Anne San Jose as Darling

It's not everyday you get the chance to interview someone as famous as Julie Anne San Jose. From being an online sensation, she truly have come that far and still soaring high with different projects from singing to acting and hosting as well. She is truly blessed.
Julie Anne said she feels blessed that GMA Network together with GMA Artist Center continuously trust her with amazing projects. In television, she replaced Isabel Oli in GMA News TV's Day Off. She is joined by her co-hosts You're My Foreignay finalist Dasuri Choi and Boobay. She is also part of the newest Sunday variety show Sunday PINASaya together with Marian Rivera, Ai-Ai delas Alas, Alden Richards, Jose Manalo, and Wally Bayola,
among many others.
At the same time her digital single "Tidal Wave" which was arranged by Sidney Brown, better known as Omen, an American music producer from Harlem who has worked with artists such as Drake, Lil Wayne, and Ludacris is making waves in the music industry as well topping charts too. She filmed three music videos in New York and California in collaboration with Los Angeles-based company, VIM Entertainment Inc. The videos will be distributed worldwide by GMA Records.
Currently, Julie Anne plays the role of "Darlina" Daling Buena in the GMA Afternoon Prime series Buena Familia together with Kylie Padilla, Julian Trono and Mona Louise Ray and their parents in the series are Bobby Andrews and Angelu De Leon.
Julie Anne said that she feels honored to finally work with Bobby Andrews and Angelu De Leon because she was a big fan of TGIS. She added that it was fun working with Julian and Kylie because this was her first time working with them in a drama series because before they used to host and perform via Sunday All Stars and this time, it was completely different since they need to act but before they hit the series, they undergo workshop so that they'll be more comfortable working as "siblings" in the series.
According to Julie Anne, it was nice that she gets to work to fulfill her dream, to perform and at the same time act. Here in Buena Familia, she will also get the chance to sing since she will get the chance to work as a performer to earn money for her family. She added that she can very well relate to her character because like Darling, she sings, she is very close to her family and is independent too. Her character is strong willed as well since she will be needing it to boost the morale of her family because of the struggles that has come their way.
In Buena Familia Julie Anne is being paired with Kapuso Artist Jhake Vargas who plays the role of Kevin Acosta.
