It's evident how Direk Antoinette Jadaone changed the way we love Romantic Movies and teleseryes. Last 2014, the writer-director released a string of hit movies that you have certainly heard of and as for me, have watched multiple times: the comedy Beauty in a Bottle, the young adult romance, Relaks, It’s just Pag Ibig, the sweet, funny, and painful That Thing Called Tadhana and the Box Office hit of Metro Manila Film Festival

According to Direk Jadaone, she on the other can't explain how everything became such a big hit but still, she is thankful that everybody loves how she works. Right now, she is the director of the hit teleserye via ABS CBN's primtime block On The Wings of Love starring none other than the kilig love team James Reid and Nadine Lustre.
OTWOL was her first venture in the teleserye seen and so far so good, it has been running at the top spot when it comes to ratings. She said,“First time ko kasing mag-direct ng teleserye so kung ano ‘yung mga bagay na gusto kong makita sa isang teleserye, meron na ‘ko ngayong avenue para ipakita ‘yun,” Direk Tonet said. “Like gusto ko light ‘yung teleserye, nakakatuwa, nakakakilig, wala masyadong drama, barilan, banggaan, ospital, aksidente…”
It was also her first time to work with JaDine (James and Nadine) and she was really impressed, like her, she can't explain the magic between the two, there's that chemistry between them that can really make everyone feel that kilig moment when you watch them.
Direk Tonet added that both are very professional and always ready to do whatever scenes that she wants them to deliver.
She said that her boyfriend, Direk Dan Villegas helped her a lot and it's a great team effort especially now that she will be very in the coming days. She will be directing the MMFF entry of Kris Aquino and Herbert Bautista Mr. and Mrs. Split and the sequel of English Only, Please which stars Jennylyn Mercado and Derek Ramsay. According to reports, it will be shoot in Barcelona, Spain so do watch out for it.
So what's a typical day for Direk Tonet now that she is a busy and in demand director?
She answered with a smile that like everyone, she still lives likes a normal person. When she is not busy, she loves watching movies together with Direk Dan. Most of the time she would love to unwind so that she would be refreshed when she is working. She added that she rarely checks her social media accounts but she's getting there, she's not a very techy person.Someday, she would love to try directing or writing a Horror movie, maybe a twist like a Horror-Comedy movie if given the chance.
