Ken Chan plays a Transgender Role via Destiny Rose

2015 is definitely Ken Chan's year because this year, he is set to establish himself as a versatile actor by portraying a transgender role via GMA Network's latest teleserye
"Destiny Rose".
According to Ken Chan, he doesn't have any doubts auditioning for the role because it is one of the most challenging role any actor should do. It will one of the biggest highlight of his career. He added that he has been waiting for this character so that it can help him boost his career and skills when it comes to acting. Ken Chan is not only a talented actor on screen but also thru theater. He has been part of numerous plays in the past.
Ken said, “I have always wanted to act, at isa sa mga gusto kong gawin bilang artista ay mag try nang mag try ng iba’tibang role. Challenging ito, pero handa akong pag-aralan
ang role ng mabuti,”
Ken Chan started as a commercial model while he was still studying as a Tourism Major student at the De La Salle College of Saint Benilde. He started out in Tween Hearts as a rival of Joshua Dionisio in 2011. Then also became part of Rhodora X and also in the Cinemalaya movie 1st ko si 3rd last 2014.
To portray his role more perfectly, Ken did a research as well about his role and even interviewed a Transwoman as well. His peg for the said role is Ms. Carla Abellana who he looks up to as an Actress because she is very beautiful, feminine and delicate.
His love team in Destiny Rose is Fabio Ide, they had workshops so that they will be comfortable with their respective roles since they'll be working as a love team. This is also a chance to break the ice between the two. But don't expect any intimate scenes because Destiny Rose will be aired on a afternoon time slot, more on "Kilig scenes" only and Destiny Rose is also about Love, family, friendship and more not just an LGBT story.
More blessings has definitely come Ken's way because his toothpaste endorsement has been aired as well. The fruits of his hardwork will definitely come a long way.
