VIVA Films’ latest offering, the film bio “Felix Manalo” stands to make a new chapter in the history of Philippine Cinema as it aims to break the 2 world best attempts in the Guinness World Record feat for the largest audience attendance in a film premiere and screening on October 4.

The premiere showing will be held at the 55,000-seater Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan, three days before its opening date on October 7 in cinemas nationwide.

The country’s biggest stars and other prominent celebrities, led by versatile actor Dennis Trillo, are expected to grace the momentous event.

According to Dennis, this is so far his most difficult and also the most challenging. “Of course, there was the usual pressure to not just live up to the part. Everything I do should look real. It is, of course, unnerving that the man has millions of followers and they all love him. The immersion was difficult because I am not an INC member (he is Catholic). And so I have to thoroughly study his life and his religion as well. You have to know his life and times. Some of the most difficult scenes were those where I have to deliver pages and pages
of lines in one setting.”

Check out the video of Felix Manalo Grand Presscon held at Manila Hotel:

In the movie, Dennis plays the lead role of Ka Felix Manalo, Iglesiani Cristo’s first Executive Minister, while the beauteous actress Bela Padilla plays the role of his wife, KaHonorata.

Dennis and Bela are supported by over a hundred big stars, like Gabby Concepcion, Gladys Reyes, Jacklyn Jose, Snooky Serna, Lorna Tolentino, Richard Yap, Dale Baldilloand more.

In line with the film premiere, the Philippine Arena will be transformed into a theater with 22 meters by 40 meters screen mounted for a full movie house experience.

“Felix Manalo” was skilfully directed by the multi-award-winning director,
Joel C. Lamangan.

Some of the biggest stars are also part of this movie like Elizabeth Oropesa, Christopher Roxas, Ruru Madrid, Roxanne Barcelo, Ryan Eigenmann, AJ Muhlach, Heart Evangelista, Ping Medina, Richard Yap, Sheryl Cruz, Dexter Doria, Joem Bascon, Rey “PJ” Abellana, Christian Vasquez, Lloyd Samartino, Snooky Serna, Joel Torre, China Cojuangco, Andrea del Rosario, Glydel Mercado, Raymond Bagatsing, TJ Trinidad, Jackie Woo, EJ Falcon, Antonio Aquitania, Ricardo Cepeda, Tonton Gutierrez, Carla Humphries, Jaime Pebanco, Eddie Gutierrez, Boy 2 Quizon, Richard Quan, Tony Mabesa, Jaime Fabregas, Gabby Concepcion, Alice Dixson, Jaclyn Jose, Allan Paule, Arci Muñoz, Alfred Vargas, Mylene Dizon

“Felix Manalo” is monumental as it traces the origins and growth of the INC since 1914. It painstakingly covers and replicates events and locations as early as 1886 when Ka Felix was born until his demise in 1963.

Audiences will surely marvel at the elaborate production sets and costumes that cut across Philippine history as it relays Ka Felix's trials and tribulations as an ordinary human being, a dutiful husband, a doting father, and a dynamic leader.
