Maricris Garcia Launches New Single Ako Na Lang Ang Bibitaw

Maricris Garcia is one of those singing divas that you'll never forget. With her powerful voice, she will definitely hit more notes and go big as years pass by. She started out early, joining singing contests in Bulacan then her big break came when she won Pinoy Pop Superstar Year 3. Since then she been known for doing songs for famous teleseryes in Kapuso Network GMA 7 like Nang Dahil Sa'yo in "Mga Mata ni Anghelita", Mahal Kita "Marimar" and Kung Sana Bukas "Babangon Ako at Dudurugin Kita".
Maricris told us in an intimate interview how being a part of La Diva became a big part og her life as well. La Diva is composed of Pinoy Pop Superstar winners and a runner up.

and an Aliw Award. They are also considered one of the best selling female group in the country. Right now, Maricris said she miss singing with them although they're very good friends in the present. They always keep in touch as well.
Aside from singing, Maricris also explored the world of acting. Her first acting stint was Basang Sisiw, Yagit and now she is also part of Marimar as Natalia Montenegro.
Maricris Garcia launched her first album Mahal Kita way back in 2007. Good news is, she recently launched her latest single "Ako na lang ang bibitaw". She narrated how she ended up singing the song when she first heard it at the 5th floor of GMA Recording studio.
She remembered that it was just a perfect song that time since she was having relationship problems and this song inspired her that time, good thing GMA Records called her and asked if she can do a demo on the song and the rest was history. Right now, she and her non-showbiz boyfriend are in good terms but she's not yet ready to the tie the know in the near future, she still wanted to focus on her singing career.
She will be launching her second album soon so watch out for it. She also wishes that she can be part of a theater play someday since it is one of her dreams.
