During our intimate chat with Tito Boboy at his house at South Forbes, there was a film showing showcasing his life. It was not an easy life for Tito Boboy but being a fighter himself, he withstand all the trials he has to endure because he felt he was given a chance to do a mission. The mini series or web clip featuring Tito Boboy's life was entitled "BINUHAY AKO NANG DAHIL SA 'YO"

A good son who excels in almost everything he does. The proof is his long lists of educational achievements starting from elementary to high school to college years. Achieved his Doctor of Humanities in Public Service at Lyceum Northwestern University and Doctor of Industrial Technology at Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology in 2006. There are still a lot of achievements on the list.

During his school days, Syjuco is not only a great achiever when it comes to academics but also a great student leader. He became National President in different organizations at University of the East and other organizations.

Syjuco is a person who values education, and a dedicated government leader. Syjuco is well known to people as a former Director General of TESDA, 2004-2010. People saw him in advertisements promoting various training skills TESDA has to offer to improve Filipino lives. He was the father of Ladderized Educational Program of TESDA. During his term in TESDA, he empowered 11,742,200+ graduates with his free Tech-Voc Scholarships. He was elected twice as Congressman/Representative for the Second District of Iloilo, in May 1998 and May 2001. Aside from writing books, he also participated as an artist (painter) in several group exhibits and held one person exhibits Manila, Barcelona, Vancouver, and in West Broadway, New York City.

During our interview, he also mentioned how our Philippines should get more internet speed that what we are getting right now thus he launched Augment Broadband Speed (ABS), an organization that will pressure the government to take immediate actions in solving Philippines' very poor internet connection which is actually the slowest compared to our countries. He also discussed some of his platforms. In one of his 15 day agenda, Day 1 focuses on providing education for the masses as he believes that this will bridge the gap between the rich and the poor. Day 2  focuses on creating more jobs after people have been educated and skilled. He would like to change the policy of ownership of foreign investors from the current 40% to 60% which will still favor Filipino interest yet opening new opportunities for investors to open doors here.

Tito Boboy also discussed the current state of Social Service System (SSS) which is indeed a big issue right now and Filipinos should take note of. I'm also an active of SSS and I'm actually nervous and at the same time curious what is really going on with our contributions. Currently, President Noynoy Aquino did not approve the Php 2,000 across the board increase of SSS pensioners which is really bad because we all know there's been price increase of almost everything that we buy in tha market right now, and it would be a great help for the pensioners if it would increase. Tito Boboy explained that more than 32 million SSS workers in the private sector are in imminent danger of being cut-off from the retirement lifeline once SSS goes bankrupt. Once SSS goes bankrupt, our economy will be a big mess! There's a lot of explanation needed and more probing as well. The nation needs to know what the truth is. If senior executives of SSS gets the chance to earn almost 100 thousand a month but they can't give an increase to pensioners then there's really something going on. I'm working hard to earn money so that eventually when I grow old, I can use money if I need it for medicine or groceries etc.

After getting to know Tito Boboy, I found myself agreeing to the fact that he is indeed a qualified candidate for President. His credentials says it all and I'm not saying this because I'm being biased but clearly we Filipinos should vote for someone that is really qualified for this position, not because he/she is famous or he/she can solve the crime rate etc but because we know that he can solve the crisis here in the country and some of them are: corruption, lack of education, not enough work for Filipinos, crime rate, transportation and drugs. There's more indeed but clearly this candidate also should know how our country will rise again in terms of our economic state, we are far behind our neighbor countries when in fact back in the days of Marcos, we are much more ahead that Thailand or Indonesia even Singapore. I hope we can think more and take note who we are going to vote this coming election.
