Teresita's of San Fernando Now Open at SM Manila: Bring Kapampangan Flavors Everywhere!

Sunday, January 24, 2016

Most of the people I know, even though a lot of restaurants with different cuisine like Italian, American, Asian and so on opened here in Manila, they would still choose to eat at any Filipino restaurant because it satisfies their craving and they know for sure that at the end of their food trip, it would be really gratifying, I also share the same experience because I always go for Filipino dishes wherever I go.

Thankfully, more Filipino restaurants are opening to satisfy our hunger for Filipino dishes just like the newly opened branch of Teresita's of San Fernando at SM Manila. Present during the grand opening is Viva Artist star Ella Cruz who is also a fan of Filipino dishes.

“We take pride in bringing the best of home-cooked meals with authentic Kapampangan taste. Just like their second home Teresita’s SM Manila aims to delight guests who wish to enjoy simple, classic but affordable dishes from the country’s food capital,” says Ryan Razon, chief executive offer (CEO) of Nozars, Inc., operator of “Teresita’s of San Fernando” chain of restaurants. Their newest branch in SM Manila is their 11th branch.

The ambiance inside Teresita's is very homey, it's like you're at your very own home, eating at your dining area with your family or friends.

Check out some of the dishes we've tried at Teresita's:
(These are just sample shots of the menu, not the actual size of serving)
 Kare-Kare
Beef Caldereta
Chicharon Bulaklak

Ala carte meals such as beef caldereta, kare kare, embotido, tapa, longganisa, daing na bangus, spare ribs, dinuguan, sisig and lumpia, are among the bestsellers she herself created. Unlike many local restaurants where food are for sharing, Teresita’s serves meals good for one – Kare-Kare, Embutido, Boneless Bangus, among others, which go with rice at very affordable prices, between P110 to P130.

And their famous merienda:
Halo - Halo
Palabok

Teresitas of San Fernando Halo Halo and Palabok are deliciously famous Kapampangan delicacies that every Filipino palate crave for.

Richly topped pancit palabok with the tastiest ingredients and sauce; mouth-watering caldereta, kare-kare, embotido, sisig,  lumpia and to-die-for halo-halo made with smooth, creamy shaved ice and topped with syrupy leche flan, are just a taste of the best Teresita’s has to offer.

Teresita’s takes pride in serving the famous Razon halo halo and palabok for which their clan is known for. However, its meal offerings are distinctly their own. Their delectable and genuinely original tastes are culled from truly Kapampangan recipes, passed on from the old generations of Mrs. Teresita Razon, Paul and Ryan’s mother.

Native delicacies as pastillas, roasted casoy, brownies, uraro, tarts, barquiron, chicharon, and others are popular take-home items. Walk-ins as well as groups can enjoy Teresita’s,
dine-in al fresco.

Their first outlet in San Fernando, a mere hole-in-the-wall, gained instant popularity with their Halu-Halo and Palabok.

After their first venture in Quezon City, Teresita’s opened at Waltermart in Munoz, also in Quezon City on 2012, followed by Vito Cruz a year later.

In 2014, they opened their first halu-halo cart in Festival Mall, Alabang.

Last year Teresita’s opened at SM Light Mall and Robinson’s Forum in Mandaluyong City, SM BF Paranaque City, and SM North Edsa Annex in Quezon City, and SM Molino in Cavite, and SM Southmall Kiosk.
“We hope to open more branches in Metro Manila. Expansion has been brisk in the last four years. And we have been getting encouraging feedback from our customers,”
added Razon.

During the first quarter of 2016,Teresita’s hopes to open two new outlets - at Petron NLEX in Marilao, Bulacan and Petron Clark in Pampanga.
