I'm a big fan of Book & Borders Cafe which is located at Tomas Morato branch. I'm delighted that they recently opened a new branch at Mckinley, Taguig specifically at Tuscany. The place is jam packed with bars and other restaurant offering different types of cuisines for variety of people,

Book & Borders Cafe is a breath of fresh air around the area because it offers a much quieter space since the theme is all about books and coffee.

But Book & Borders Cafe is not all about Books and Coffee only, they offer wide selection of reading materials and great food as well. From shakes to pasta and rice meal and all, they have it.

Once you enter the cafe, you will be delighted with the cute set up that they offer especially for book lovers out there. It's a cafe perfect for those who loves to take photos because every corner is very Instagram worthy more importantly, this cafe gives you a chance to enjoy a time for yourself while you read your favorite book and coffee on the side.

Present during the grand opening were Kapuso Actor Benjamin Alves together with Showtime Host/ Singer Karylle. They were also joined by café owner Kristine Simisim and chef Edward Mateo.

“Here, you can relish the quiet, tucked in your little corner where you can enjoy your coffee or tea, and indulge in your favorite pastime – reading,” shares Kristine Simisim, café owner. “Bring a friend or your new book and discover how time flies.”

“I’m so ecstatic that there’s finally a place for people like us. It’s cozy and inviting, and you won’t get too distracted like in crowded cafes. ‘Books + coffee’ spells the perfect afternoon,” shares Kapuso artist and budding poet Benjamin Alves.  His favorite poets are R.F. Langley, Robert Frost and Charles Bukowski.

“What I love about Book & Borders is that there’s always something new to discover because they constantly update their library. So even if you just want to browse, all the recent best sellers are on the shelves,” shares Karylle, a self-proclaimed bookworm and travel books collector.
