UNBOUND Music Video of MARION: Coming Soon!

Monday, April 18, 2016

I'm one of Marion Aunor's supporters, just so you know, she's very talented. I totally believe that she will soar higher in the days to come because she has a lot of guts, talents and passion in her craft and these traits can go a long way.

Marion Aunor rose to fame with an original song called "If You Ever Change Your Mind", which was also written by herself. Her song was one of the twelve finalists selected from the 2,500 songs from the auditions. The song won as the third place in the 2013 Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs.

Marion then signed a contract with Star Records as a recording artist. On May 3, 2013, her song entry "Do, Do, Do" was chosen as one of the twelve finalists for the second Philippine Popular Music Festival. Her self-titled album was eventually released on July 4. In 2014, Marion became one of the finalists in the Myx VJ Search. She was chosen to interpret one of the finalist song at the 2014 Himig Handog. The song was entitled 'Pumapag-ibig' and was written by Jungee Marcelo. She performed the song with Rizza Cabrera and Seed Bunye. The song competed at the finals night of the Himig Handog on
September 28, 2014.

Meanwhile, since a lot of people believe in her sheer talent, her recent song “How Can I” became part of the box office hit Always Be My Maybe starring Arci Muñoz and Gerald Anderson.
“Free Fall Into Love” was also part of the film, which came right after it was chosen as the official Kapamilya FebIbig theme song.

Other than that, Marion's song “I Love You Always and Forever,” was also used in the movie "Ex with Benefits". Since then, more people can relate to her songs and can be very well a theme of every person who experienced a heartbreak or a wonderful love life. Marion wrote most of her songs which is basically based from experience.

We got a chance to interview Marion during her short break in between shooting her latest music video for her latest song "Unbound". The song is a bit on the Techno and Pop side which is something to look forward to with Marion because most of us know that she can very well sing Jazz and sultry songs. Of course, this is still an original song which she wrote which marks as a statement that she is bound to reach her goals, promote all original Filipino music and make people proud that we can really produce quality songs.

Marion said that she is thankful that Alex Gonzaga and Morrisette Amon were featured on this video as well as on the song itself, they also believe in genuine Filipino talent. Fans of Marion will surely love this upcoming music video because the upbeat song and the funky get ups of Marion together with Alex and Morrisette will surely make you want to be part of the music video as well.

Marion celebrated her birthday last April 10 and according to her, it was a day well spent with her family and friends. Most of her wishes has already come true and her only wish is that it will blossom more and people will continue to support her music because she will also continue writing songs and she will also be busy promoting her album doing mall shows and hopefully another concert after her succesful concert with Michael Pangilinan at Music Museum.
