Banana Peel brings the summer fever in the metro last May 7 when they held the Summer in the City Island Getaway event at Trinoma Activity Center.


It was a jam packed event that most families and group of friends attended. "Summer in the City: Island Getaway" is Banana Peel's summer treat for its loyal followers.


The day long event which started from 10 in the morning till 10 in the evening was packed with activities enjoyed normally in the islands.


The Chill Coast area offers tropical pampering experiences like the isle's nail polish, hair braiding, face painting and massage. The Wild Trek brings the island adventure where kids and young at heart can enjoy a 7 meter high wall climbing inflatable and even photobooth.


 When you feel tired and hungry, attendees can head on to "Snack Valley" where they can eat and fuel up with the island treats prepared by sponsors.


There were also fun games were guests can play and win prizes just like the booth at Beach Hut, Mcdonald's and Lay Bare. Mabuhay Miles also have a booth here where they sponsored a trip to Davao for the lucky grand prize winner of the raffle.


Banana Peel Summer in the City: Island Getaway was made ven more special and exciting through the partnership of Beach Hut, Fuitas, De Original Jamaican Patties, MoguMogu, Mcdonalds, Wilkins, Kettle Corn, Facial Plus, Lay Bare, Nail It, Leslie's Cheezy, Clover and Nacho, Owl Coffee, Bissin, PAL Mabuhay Miles, Cose, Unilever and Contigo.
