Imagine You and Me grosses Php 21.5 million on opening day!

Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza's Imagine You And Me gained the highest first day box-office gross of a Filipino movie this 2016. This romantic comedy film earned P21.5 million on opening day, according to producer APT Entertainment.
The romantic comedy film directed by Mike Tuviera opened in cinemas last July 13.
The first solo movie of Alden and Maine also stars Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Irma Adlawan, Yayo Aguila, William Martinez, Luis Alandy, Elijah Alejo, Cacai Bautista, Jerald Napoles, and Cai Cortez.
In an updated report published by GMA News, the total earnings of the film on its first day amounted to P21,503,084. This is according to the figures sent by APT Entertainment.
The breakdown of the film's total first day gross is as follows: P10,767,694 from the Metro Manila area and P10,735,390 from the provincial areas.
Imagine You and Me is currently being screened in over 230 cinemas nationwide.
Yesterday, the earnings of the movie earned P12,866,433 as of 6 p.m.
