Known as the home of the best comedies and comedy experts, GMA Network offers a unique viewing treat with their latest Kapuso Comedy shows.  Starting of with Conan, My Beautician and Laff, Camera, Action!

Another first in the Philippine TV History is Laff, Camera, Action! Hosting the program is  Betong Sumaya together with Sheena Halili. Betong told us during the Kapuso Comedy Blogcon how the show will run. Without any rehearsal and script, contestants will have to battle it out using only their wit, comedic timing and prowess.

And for Laff, Camera Action!, wherein the six contestants will be divided into two competing groups, The two groups will showcase their improvisational comedy skills and compete for three rounds. In the first round, the two teams will perform two different scenarios using the limited number of props. In the second round, a special guest performer will join each team in interpreting two different scenarios. In the final round, both teams will act out the same scenario using the same set of props. The three judges will then evaluate and score the performances.

Betong added that he is really happy and grateful to GMA Network for trusting his this kind of project because up until now this is all a dream come true, from the time he won Survivor and getting different acting stints specifically Bubble Gang where he got his biggest break on portraying Antoinetta. He said that he learned a lot of things from Bitoy Michael V., working with him has been the one of the best experience since it gave him a background on how to be more natural and take care of your audience.

Laff, Camera, Action airs every Saturday after Wish Ko Lang.

Gathering today’s most talented comedians to complete a stellar cast top billed by Mark Herras and Miss World 2013 Megan Young, GMA-7’s newest comedy series, “Conan My Beautician” makes every Sunday a laugh treat for the whole family which started last
June 26.

Mark Herras told us all about his character as CONAN—handsome, tattooed, and the most talented beautician of Salon Paz.  But he is straight. Conan has to pretend he is gay to be able to work for the salon. He needs the job badly to save the life of his hospitalized mother and to make both ends meet for their family after being thrown away from their hometown by the ugly-mannered Chika La Chaka (Cacai Bautista).

When Conan meets Ava (Megan), the bride whom he was supposed to work on in a makeup gig, Conan falls in love.

Mark said that at first he was hesitant to do this project because he felt that he might not be able to deliver it perfectly, a role of a gay beautician. But with the guide of his director and co-stars, he definitely got his courage and confidence about his role. He enjoys his working relationship with his co-actors because the concept of the show is light and funny plus working with Megan Young makes the project even more easy because according to Mark she is really a good actress and he is comfortable working with her.

Conan’s co-beauticians at Salon Paz—Greg, “The Paminta” (Jerald Napoles); Mimi, “The Hugot Queen” (Betong Sumaya); Debbie, “The Babaeng Bakla” (Boobsie); and Pia, “The Kontesera” (Tetay)—smell something fishy. Is Conan one of them, or is he hiding something?

Joining the cast are Lotlot De Leon, Jay Manalo, Balang (YouTube Video Sensation who guested on “The Ellen De Generes Show”), Chlaui Malayao (from “Little Nanay”), Vangie Labalan, and Antonette Garcia.

Fun, light, and definitely for the whole family, this male Cinderella love story-comedy is penned by award-winning writers, headed by Rody Vera and Zig Dulay; and directed by Adolf Alix Jr. with Rember Gelera.

“Conan My Beautician” airs Sundays at 5 p.m. and is part of GMA-7’s 66th anniversary presentation.

Nar Cabico on the other hand is one fine talented actor and singer. He started out in Theater, doing different stage plays and nailing it as well. His first project in GMA Network is Beautiful Stranger with Lovi Poe and Heart Evangelista. He was so good in his character, since then he has been getting different stints. He said that doing stage plays and acting on screen are totally different. Thankfully, he has worked with very helpful co-stars and directors who guided him every step of the way.

Nar is gearing up for a "BIG PROJECT" coming this 2016 and you don't want to miss it because it is one of GMA Network's biggest project this year and Nar is just happy that he will be part of it. Let's watch out for it.
