Blue Posts Boiling Crabs and Shrimps brings Davao's Best Seafood Goodness at SM North

Monday, August 22, 2016

I'm not really a seafood lover but  from time to time since some of my family members really loves to eat seafood, I occasionally dig in with what they love. There are only a few seafood restaurant here in the metro where you can eat fresh and superb seafood dishes, thankfully, Davao's best seafood restaurant will open it's door here in Manila just in time with the Kadayan Festival.

Blue Posts Boling Crabs and Shrimps is considered as one of the best homegrown casual-dining restaurants in Davao. Diners come in droves to Blue Posts Boiling Crabs and Shrimps for its unconventional and informal dining style and an interior inspired by the look and feel of a fisherman’s wharf. It can accommodate up to 100 customers.

With Blogger friend Bedalyn Aguas and Mr. Anthony Ang, CEO of Blue Posts

"We are bringing the best food in Davao to offer here in Manila... Our focus is to give whatever the services that we give in Davao to the crowd in Manila. We want to give them the best food quality and best customer service," said Blue Posts CEO
Anthony Ang.

In 2013, Blue Posts was redesigned into a casual-dining haunt. The place owes its reinvention to Mr. and Mrs. Anthony and Jennifer Ang who in one of their US trips noticed the emergence of casual-dining seafood restaurants. Their popularity was such that people would line up even before the stores would open and didn’t mind it.

A place for seafood lovers, Blue Posts encourages diners to enjoy their dishes with their bare hands. Food-grade wax paper is used as a plate, along with a plastic bib. Which is one of their tag line is "It's fun to be messy" since diners will definitely get their fill of seafood while eating with their hands.

Diners can choose from a wide roster of seafood placed in a food grade boiling bag mixed with the signature Blue Posts Cajun Special Sauce, along with corn cobs and other extras such as sausages and boiled potatoes. Customers can choose whether they prefer it regular, mild, or spicy hot. Whatever level of flavour you pick, the dishes remain interesting, mouth-watering, and worth going back to.

The Menu

Another attraction is the Mixology of drinks where you can mix drinks of your own choice!

I tried the Blue Lemonade which is a combination of Pineapple and Lime then the watermelon shake which is a must try as well because it's really refreshing.

The star of the day!

You can enjoy the Boiling Crabs and Shrimps with three kinds of sauces: There is the Garlic Fried Sauce, the sweet and spicy Asian Sambal Sauce, and the savory Boiling Cajun Sauce. All of which are very delicious and mouth watering, you will just can't get enough of these!

This is how it was served to us before we started eating.

This is the aftermath, it may look like a tornado just passed by our table by you can surely tell when the people enjoy the food by how messy their table is and this is the
 perfect example.

I would like to thank Wendy who patiently served us with all the amazing dishes that day! She is really friendly and very accommodating! Hope to see her again soon when we dine at Blue Posts Boiling Crabs and Shrimps.
