Claret School of Quezon City holds 49th Grand Alumni Homecoming Reunion

On its Silver Jubilee, the 1991 graduates of Claret School of Quezon City represented by its core group members are helping to spearhead the upcoming 49th Grand Alumni Homecoming Reunion at the school’s quadrangle on October 15.
Some 800 members from batches 1975 to 2016 are invited and expected to attend the event which is prelude to the school’s Golden Jubilee in October 2017.
During press conference held at the Alhambra Grill and Restaurant om Scout Rallos corner Scout Torillo in Quezon City last August 27, members of Claret’s Batch 1991 made their pledges of support for the 25th anniversary celebration.
Guests were also treated to an evening of acoustic music featuring Kiko Versoza, a Claret alumna and a former member of “Free Verse” band.
Graduates of Batch 1991 admit that preparing for an event like the Grand Alumni Homecoming in 2017 is a big task.
“Since all have pursued different paths, now based in various geographical locations and are occupied with the kind of lives they have chosen, still the lines of communications are opened and strive to live the core values of Scientia Maxime Cum Virtute (Knowledge is Best With Virtue) of being united in order to reach the ultimate goal in going for the Golden Year celebration,” said Estien Quijano, project director/batch representative said.
Quiano, who admitted that this was the first time they held a press conference, said that reunion aims to foster camaraderie and brotherhood in each Claretian batch.
The batch has also initiated the creation of the search for the 50 Golden Achievement awardees.
It has been adopted by the Claret School Alumni Association but still actively handled by Batch 1991 to coordinate with batches from 1975 to 1992 through their respective batch representatives.
Members of Batch 1991 have also partnered with several organizations to mount this year’s alumni homecoming.
