GMA Network never fails to give brilliant shows that will truly entertain the viewers.
Just recently Kapuso network launches a new celebrity singing competition show that will be airing on Saturday, September 3. It will be airing after Magpakailanman.
'Superstar Duets, will be hosted by Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado. She said that she is very excited for this show since this a first in the Philippine TV since it combines singing competition and also comedy.

The eight celebrity contestants will be paired with impersonators of international superstars.
Throughout the show, Jerald's singing partner will be Celine Dion-esia (Celine Dion impersonator); Pekto is paired with Zia Later ("Zia"); Joross is teamed up with Adellantada ("Adelle"); Nar is matched with Samboy Smith ("Sam Smith"), Osang is partnered with Justin Tatlongbibe ("Justin Bieber"), till each of them get eliminated and one will be the champion.
During the grand presscon, each of them shared how excited they are for this show and how they enjoyed working with one another.
Joross, who is considered to be one of the funniest and wackiest of the group said that he is so competitive, he is confident that if ever he will not win this competition, he would appoint himself as the 4th judge.
Jerald attests that the impersonators really sound like the singers they are imitating, saying "sobrang kaboses," adding in jest, "kaamoy pa nga eh, kahininga."
Jennylyn added that hosting this show was really easy for her but working with the contestants were really hard because she can't help but laugh with all the adlib, joke and antics. Each of them has their different character that makes the whole show even more fun.
Joross joked, "Sana kayanin ng mga editor and pag-edit sa mga pinagsasabi namin."
Meanwhile, the talented judges of "Superstar Duets" include comedian and TV host Allan K, Traffic Diva and singer Aicelle Santos, and romantic balladeer Christian Bautista.
