Dave Bornea + Lindsay De Vera and Jay Arcilla + Arra San Agustin: The Newest Love Teams of GMA Artist Center

GMA Network has been known for pairing some of the best love teams even from the past. If you'll recall Bobby Andrews and Angelu De Leon then there's Dingdong Dantes and Antonette Taus, fast forward to the present, there's Bianca Umali - Miguel Tanfelix and Gabby Garcia - Ruru Madrid. Fans will always spot who are the genuine ones that really build a strong chemistry when you watch them.
Just recently, GMA Artist Center introduces their newest love team:
Dave Bornea
Dave became a finalist of Mister Pogi back in 2012. Then he joined Starstruck season 6 unfortunately he didn't make the cut. Now, he is part of GMA Artist Center's ONE UP
boy band, a sing and dance group.
Lindsay De Vera
Lindsay started out as a commercial model : ramp, commercial and print ad.
Lindsay is also a recording artist, Julian Trono once did a collaboration song with her entitled "Kapit Lang". Her last project was Pari Ko'y where she worked with Dingdong Dantes.
Jay Arcilla
Jay Arcilla might be familiar to your because he has been visible via different GMA shows like Eat Bulaga, Buena Familia and Karelasyon. He began at Starstruck season 6 and was part of the Top 4. Then he became part of GMA Artist Center's boy band One Up.
Arra San Agustin
Arra San Agustin was also a part of Starstruck season 6. After the competition she has been part of GMA Network shows like Laff Camera Action, Dear Uge, Karelasyon, A1 Ko Sayo and Bubble Gang. Arra is a Psychology major student at De La Salle University in Manila. She is a ballerina who knows figure skating.
During the interview, both love teams shared how excited they are for their upcoming projects. All of them know that it's a stiff competition nowdays when it comes to love teams because there are a lot of love teams who also have a strong support base but for them, they said that they wanted to show the audience that they too can act and have a talent on their own that they want to showcase especially with their feel good projects in the future.
With Jay and Arra, they already have built a strong friendship because they have been paired before in Starstruck. Arra said that what she likes about Jay is that he is very funny, there's no dull moment with him and he also makes it a point that they can talk about something worthwhile. Jay said that what he loves about Arra is that she is the type of girl every guy can be proud of, she is educated and very beautiful,
what more can a guy as for, he said.
They have an upcoming project via GMA Network entitled "URL: Usapang Real Love"
the first-ever interactive rom-com series with Usapang Real Love (URL). It premieres on September 25 every Sunday right after GMA Blockbusters. URL is an extraordinary mini-series that bridges the power of social media and romantic comedies in one game-changing television endeavor. It features one-of-a-kind love stories headlined by Kapuso love teams, which will be told in four weekly episodes.
Dave Bornea and Lindsay De Vera on the other hand said that they are making extra effort to know each other more because this is the first time that they're paired. Although they have something in common which is they both love music, Dave said that what he loves about Lindsay is that she can be a "Pabebe Girl" sometimes which Lindsay find really funny. Lindsay said that what she loves about Dave is that he is very thoughtful and sweet.
Dave and Lindsay are part of Alyas Robinhood with no less than Dingdong Dantes. Both of them felt really blessed because they were given the chance to work with him and Lindsay said that they'll learn a lot from him as well. She added that they look up to the tandem of "DonYan" when it comes to love teams because on and off screen their chemistry can really melts the hearts of many.
After the interview, Dave, Lindsay, Jay and Arra explored the wonders of Latte Art and the perfect venue is at Cafe Pascucci at Glorietta. Both love teams enjoyed the fun activity even to the point of challenging one another what design they would create.
