Superstar Duets Premiered with High Ratings!

Last September 3, Superstar Duets premiered via Kapuso Network hosted by no less than the Ultimate Star Ms. Jennylyn Mercado. You will truly experience entertainment at its finest since Superstar Duets is a first in the Philippines, “Superstar Duets” will surely give viewers an extraordinary and more enjoyable viewing experience as it showcases one-of-a-kind duet performances from eight Filipino celebrities and surprise international superstars every Saturday night.
The panel of judges are comedian/TV host Allan K, Traffic Diva Aicelle Santos and Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista.
I watched the premiere episode of Superstar Duets and I really find it very entertaining and funny as well. Check out the photos below from GMA Network:
Pekto performed with See Yah Later, followed by Denise Barbacena with Nicki Balaj then Rita Daniela and Ariana Venti then lastly Osang with Justin Tatlong Bibe. All of them belted out their wonderful renditions of the songs they performed.
Even though they performed well, the judges need to choose one top group and bottom group: The top group are: Denise Barbacena & Nicki Balaj then Osang and Justin Tatlong Bibe. The Bottom group are Pekto & See Yah Later, Rita Daniela & Ariana Venti.
The judges reminded the contestants that they all need to have a connection with the audience and the judges as well. They need to showcase both talent and entertainment so they need to balance both.
Other contestants who will battle the top spot of Superstar Duets are Nar Cabico, Joross Gamboa, Jerald Napoles and Divine.
