Marion Aunor or simply MARION has come a long way since winning Himig Handog.
Even if we all know that she came from the "Aunor Family", she already has proven that she indeed can stand alone because of her undeniable talent. Marion said that she feels blessed that she came from a musically inclined family and that helped her to shine bright like a diamond.

Marion has written most of the songs in her latest album "Marion" and according to her, she usually uses the piano when she's composing a song. She added that since she doesn't have a lot of experience when it comes to love, she picks up from stories she got from people around her which eventually inspires her to write a song. Her latest album is more on the R&B side and the Album has 16 tracks which includes: Wanna be bad, Lights down low, Unbound (with Alex and Morrisette), Angel, How can I, Take a chance, Pressing rewind, Be like you, I love you always forever, Free fall into love, Oo nga pala, Ako siguro, Di na ngayon, You don't know me, Goodbye kiss and a collab with Rizza Cabrera.

Marion not only writes songs for herself but she also composed several songs for different Kapamilya stars which includes Kathryn Bernardo, Alex Gonzaga and more.

Her sister Ashley or Ash-Ash is also a budding singer and has perform as an opening act in Marion's several shows. One of this days she might launch her album as well who knows but she is definitely talented as well. Her genre is mostly country to alternative.

Because of Marion's sheer talent, it's no denying that a lot of award giving buddies continuously recognize her contributions in the music industry. Just recently, Marion got nominated in the PMPC Star Awards for Music, this includes Album of the Year, Female Pop Artist of the Year, Pop album of the Year, Female Recording Artist of the Year. Marion also gained eight (8) nominations via Awit Awards including: Best song of the year, best collaboration, Best pop recording, Best dance recording, Best inspirational song, Best jazz recording, Best vocal arrangement and Best engineered song.

Marion also did a theme song for Arlyn Dela Cruz's movie "Tibak" which is a biopic of Joma Sison. She didn't just created the theme song but she was also part of the movie and was introduced in that movie, her very first acting stint. Although she enjoyed the experience, she said she would still want to focus on her music.

Marion will have an upcoming Bar concert tour and it will start at 19 East Bar & Grill at Sucat Paranaque on October 16 9 in the evening. Her special guests include her sister Ash-Ash, Jeff Cifra and Michael Pangilinan. Hosted by Ambeth Nabus.
