GMA Artist Talents Bagged Recognition in an Award Giving Body for Music and Television 2016

GMA Artist Center proves to be the home of the best artists in the country and they keep on honing some of the most talented artists in GMA Network. Just recently, GMA Artist Center won big at the PMPC Star Awards for Music and Television held last October 23 at Novotel.
One of GMA Artist Center stars, the Pambansang BAE Alden Richards bagged several titles which includes Album of the Year, POP Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Male Pop Artist. He also received the Best Single Performance by an Actor for his role
in God Gave Me You.

Another winner is Kristoffer Martin who bagged the Best Single Performance by an Actor for his role in the TV show Magpakailanman. The episode was "Mag-Ama sa Bilangguan"
with John Arcilla.
According to Kristoffer, when he got the nomination, he was surprised and thankful all at the same time. John Arcilla was also nominated in the same category and that alone makes him really proud, to be nominated with the best actors in the industry. But when his name was called that he really won the award, he was grateful because all his hard work paid off and he also dedicated his award to Mr. John Arcilla where he learned so much about acting and inspired him to be the best in his craft.
This is not the first time Kristoffer Martin won an Award for his performance. In 2013, he won Best Supporting Actor for the film "Oros" 16th Long Island International Film Expo and 10th Golden Screen Awards then Best Performance by The Young Critics Circle Awards.
Kristoffer said that even though he won several awards in the past, he is eager to learn more and challenge himself with different roles.

Derrick Monasterio on the other hand won Best New Male Recording Artist of the Year. This is for his self titled album which was released this year under GMA Records. Derrick said that he felt really blessed that finally, step by step, his dreams are finally coming true. His first love was singing and he was thankful to GMA Artist Center and GMA Records for giving him a chance to explore this side of his career since he started out as an actor.
Derrick mentioned that not many actor gets the chance to do singing and acting which is why he wanted to balance both. He added that having an album means a lot to him and now having an ward for it is an early Christmas gift. He promises his fans that he will give his best more. Blessings keep on coming for Derrick since he is the lead star in the latest Fanta Serye via GMA Network's "Tsuper Hero" with Bea Binene.
Derrick said that portraying a superhero is one of his bucket list, aside from winning an award. He is happy that he gets to work again with Bea Binene which is really close to him.
H wishes that he can also win an acting award someday.

It was just recently when Top One Project (T.O.P.) celebrated their 1st year anniversary. Then they released their very first album under GMA records and since then everything's a history. They've been guesting here and there, they have a busy schedule and have collaborated with different artist which includes Julie Anne San Jose now gaining a lot of views via You Tube.
The group which consists of Miko Manguba, Mico Cruz, Louie Pedroso, Joshua Jacobe and Adrian Pascual continuously outshines the others from becoming the TOP selling album then dominating the radio charts even replacing Alden Richards top spot and lastly, sold out concert at Music Museum, what more can they ask for? But there's more.
The biggest blessing so far for TOP is winning the Group of the Year, competing with some of the popular groups in the country including 2 of their very own Mentor in The Company.
Miko Manguba, said that it was really a dream come true for them and it won't stop there.
There's no denying that these boys are hungry for more and they won't stop aiming for the TOP since undeniably they are indeed very talented and compare to other boy bands? They are passionate in their craft and competition gives them more inspiration to give their best.
