Don't miss the Last Two Weeks of Oh, My Mama!

Inah De Belen can't describe how grateful she feels that GMA Network gave her a chance to star in her very first teleserye which is Oh, My Mama which will be airing it's last
 few episodes.

The newest Kapuso leading lady took the challenge of playing her first lead role as she breathes life to Maricel Reyes, a 17-year-old teenager who longs for the affection of her dad. As she searches for her father, Maricel crosses paths with a syndicate that kidnaps children to be used as beggars.

To date, this is the most challenging project for Inah since she is tackling a mother role.
"My experience of being part of Oh, My Mama was really a memorable one for me, working with kids and acting like a Mom was really challenging but at the same time it was fun for me since I love kids. Even if na-pressure ako with this role it became my motivation to portray the role at my very best and I hope the viewers love it."

According to Inah, she enjoyed working with Jake because he is very professional and at the same time he always makes sure that she is comfotable whenever they're doing scenes, in fact they're that close they almost look like they're "Bffs".

Adding color to Maricel’s journey in Oh, My Mama! is the arrogant Julio Sta. Ana portrayed by Jake Vargas, who helped her and the children escape the faction and helped Maricel in raising them up.

For Jake, he said that working with Inah was really a wonderful experience, "Workshops pa lang nagkasundo na kami agad," he added that Inah is very passionate in her craft, that even though this is their first time to work with each other, he knows how hard working Inah is and hopefully they can work again  in the future.

Jake mentioned that he enjoyed his role this time because compared to his past roles, this time around, he gets to portray an offbeat role since most of his roles are usually
 the typical boy-next-door.

Watch their Interview here:
Both Inah and Jake shared that working with Direk Neal, he gave them the complete boost they need so that they can give their best in their respective roles. There are a lot more scenes that the viewers should watch out because every episode will get intense and more revelations will be shown as well.

As per question if Inah have already introduced Jake to her Mom which is none other thasn Ms. Janice de Belen, Inah can only utter, "Oh, My Mama" while laughing.

Completing the love triangle is Jeric Gonzales who plays Zach Ynares, a chick magnet who  falls in love with Maricel. Jeric shared that one thing he loves about being part of Oh, My Mama was he gets to work with some of the veteran and best actors in the industry, one of them is Epi Quizon who he looks up to, he added that he learned so many things from them which he really need to stay long in the industry.

Jerc added that he really don't have any similarities with his role Zach because it is completely his opposite. While Zach is arrogant since he is rich, this was the challenge for him, to be someone that he's not. He added that working with Inah and Jake is a breath of fresh air since they're all nice to work with and they have a happy set.

Joining them are versatile actors Gladys Reyes as Inday Bartolome, Ryan Eigenmann as Efren Ynares, Epi Quizon as Gordon Reyes, Yul Servo as Robert Reyes, Francine Prieto as Patricia Ynares, Arthur Solinap as Rick Rosales, Ash Ortega as Ariana Gutierrez and Jenny Miller as Sabrina Cruz.  Adding star power to this series is the special participation of seasoned actress Sheryl Cruz as Julia Domingo.

Also part of Oh, My Mama! is Eunice Lagusad as Sara Bartolome; Phytos Ramirez as Justin and Annalyn Baro as Milley. Since this is the first time Inah was part of GMA Network project, how is she as a co-actor? Annalyn said, "Magaling sya, magaan ka-trabaho." Phytos added, "At first parang nahirapan ako i-apporach sya kasi anak sya ng big stars symepre nakakahiya pero when you get to know her more, napaka bait nyang tao, kaya mas madali sya maka-trabaho."

Annalyn shared that even though she plays a bit of the bad girl here in the series, she's totally not like that in real life, playing kontrabida gave her this challenge to be someone that she is not and eventually she can try more roles in the future where she can do comedy and other challenging roles.

As for Phytos, he said that even though he has done several roles in the past, whenever he accepts a role, he always treats it as a big challenge for him, no role is as challenging as the last he added. Phytos and Eunice will have a big reveal in the series and both of them said that the viewers should watch out for it. Eunice is one actress that can be a friend to any actress in any series, she does it really well and when it comes to acting, she really gives her all in fact, there's no denying that she is that good since she's been acting since she's little.

The five kids who became Inah’s children in the series are Therese Malvar as Peewee; Jhiz Deocareza as Bayani; Bryce Eusebio as Bimbo; Sofia Pablo as Nicole and David Remo as Tito.

Don't miss the adventures of Maricel as she continues to search for the affection for herself and for the children in Oh, My Mama! Weekdays after Eat Bulaga!

“Oh, My Mama!” is under the helm of director Neal del Rosario.
