Special thanks to Maynilad and Nuffnang Philippines for giving me a chance together with fellow bloggers to have a food trip here at 13 Ubay St. located at Sta. Mesa Heights, Quezon City. We were set to have an educational tour at Maynilad Veterans Reclamation Facility and since it's already lunch time, it's the perfect time to drop by at 13 Ubay St.
It was my first time at 13 Ubay St. and at first glance I was very impressed. It has this homey ambiance that will make your dining experience more worth while aside from the wonderful dishes that they serve and we haven't even started yet. Because of the spacious area, this is a nice place for big groups like family dinner or lunch out with officemates and get together with your friends.
Of course, people who loves watching teleseryes will recognizes this place as the restaurant where Yna, Kathryn Bernardo's role in Pangako Sa'yo work as a chef. But if you love great food and serene places, then you will not drop by at this place just because it became popular since it was used in a teleserye.
The menu is filled with different cuisines, from Filipino to Western and more but you will surely love the classics.

13 Ubay St. is definitely a must-visit hole in the wall restaurant. Their delightful comfort dishes will surely make you visit them again and again because they have so much more to offer and I really enjoyed the great food. The trip to the quiet neighborhood of Banawe is definitely worth it. My personal favorites were the Cheese and Raspberry Salad, 3 Hour Belly (I can eat the whole serving if I'm not afraid of the putok-batok moment) then there's the dessert, the Ube Cheesecake is really mouth-watering.
