Destined To Be Yours is GMA Network's  first primetime soap to kick start this 2017 set to premiere on (Feb. 27), taking over the time slot to be vacated by Dingdong Dantes’ action-adventure Robin Hood, Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards have been feeling under the weather these days because of their busy schedule (most of the scenes were shot in Quezon), doing Eat Bulaga, Sunday Pinasaya then this newest teleserye, juggling their schedule might be something only pros can do but it looks like ALDUB is getting the hang of it.

Directed by Irene Villamor, DTBY tells a love story quite different from the one in Imagine You & Me, the loveteam’s first solo starrer (after appearing with Vic Sotto and Ai-Ai de las Alas in My Bebe Love) that raked in millions.

Maine and Alden talked about their roles in Destined to be Yours. According to Maine, her  character is Sinag Obispo. She’s a simple girl, a normal citizen. "Masayahin at medyo kalog. That’s how I am similar to her. But she is somewhat bitter in love at dyan kami nagkakaiba."

Alden's character is Benjamin Rosales, a struggling architect.  "hindi masyadong biniyayaan ng wealth. He lives with only his mom; he’s happy-go-lucky, chickboy na walang paki sa buhay. That’s how different I and Benjamin are. But he always tries to do anything that will make his mom happy at dyan kami magkapareho."

The cast shared how was it like working with Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza. Lotlot De Leon who will play Amanda Rosales, the mother of Alden Richards narrated how nice Alden is because when she was sick, he was very concerned and even took time to take care of her.

Even Ms. Boots Anson-Roa who will plays as Helen Rosales, grand mother of Benjie (Alden) in the teleserye said that both Alden and Maine are very hardworking and passionate when it comes to their craft, saying that they are very professional and they have high respect to all the people that they work with from the actors to all the staff around them.

Even Ms. Janice de Belen who will pay the role of Sally Obispo, Mom of Sinag (Maine) said that she loves working with the famous love team saying that they really have the chemistry that can make everyone experience that "kilig" once they start rolling the camera.

Sheena Halili, Rj Padilla and Juancho Trivino also shared how was it like working with Maine Mendoza since they'll be working closely because they will play the role of Sinag's childhood friends. Sheena mentioned that there was no effort in doing her role with Maine because in real life, Maine is someone that you can get along really well, she described Maine as kalog which make the work experience even more fun, this is likewise the experience for Juancho who said that at first he felt sad that some fans would bash him because he is working side by side with Maine but according to him, he hopes that people would understand that they're just doing their work and they're all good friends.

All of them shared how excited they are on the worldwide premiere of Destined to be Yours happening on February 27, Monday after Encantadia via GMA Telebabad. Don't miss it!
