Eden Travellers Lodge: Where to stay in Puerto Princesa, Palawan

Friday, March 10, 2017

It's my third time at Puerto Princesa, Palawan and there are plenty of reasons why I keep coming back for more of. In my Instagram post during my stay at Puerto Princesa, Palawan, I even mentioned that I can imagine myself living here till I grew old because I find it so practical, so refreshing and so simple to live in this place. The people are friendly and helpful plus almost everyone will go out of their way to help you. The fare is cheap which is why you can ride a tricyle and ask the driver to drop you off to your next destination.

This is what we did when we were looking for a place to stay because most of the inns and hotels are already fully booked that day when we arrived. We just came back from Balabac and explored the wonderful and amazing Onuk Island.

Thankfully, we found a new lodging house that is fit to our budget since we will be staying
 for 3 days.

EDEN TRAVELLER’S LODGE is situated in P.Vicente Street ( Former Baltan Street), Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

It is about ten minute away from the Puerto Princesa Airport, The Lodge offers airport transfers that ensure convenience for its guests upon arrival in Puerto Princesa City, it is a nice place to stay and also perfect since you can just walk from there to the  grocery, restaurants, fast food chains and shopping malls in the city.

WiFi is free and can be accessed at public areas around the premises.

Each room is fully air conditioned, suite toilet and bathroom has a shower, and basic bath essentials are also provided for.

Check out our air conditioned room:
The bed is comfy as well as the pillows and mattress. The aircon is superb, yoy will definitely feel that you are in an air conditioned room plus the room is very clean and neat, you won't smell any trace of dirt or smoke inside.

The bathroom is equally nice with hot and cold shower plus towels and tissue.

If you opt for a Fan Room, this is what it looks like which is actually the same as the air conditioned room minus the aircon though.

Your stay comes with a free Filipino breakfast with coffee.

At night if you don't want to sleep yet or if you smoke (I don't smoke though) you can stay outside your room and just chillax. They have a mini-grocery where you can buy
 drinks and more.

I recommend this place if you're going to Puerto Princesa, Palawan soon. We had a wonderful experience here and the staff were all friendly even the owner who gave us a great deal.

If you don't want to stay the whole day at your room, you can roam around the city and do a food trip at some of the famous cafes and bars in the area.

I recommend Itoy's Coffee Haus, check out my review here:

You can also drop by at the Baywalk of Puerto Princesa, pretty much like the
Baywalk in Manila.

There's a lot of eatery in the area, there's plenty of choices where you can dine.

I'll definitely be back Palawan! Have you been to Palawan? share your experience below :-)
