Scan and have FUN! at SM City Fairview's Q Art Exhibit

Technology has helped us a lot in our daily lives and I can't deny how I completely rely on modern technology more often these past few years. Technology is intended to make our lives easier. While we can sometimes feel like throwing our computers out the window even our cellphones for different reasons specifically stress, or going on vacation just to get away from all the buzzing, beeping, and being too connected, ultimately technology gives us a wealth of opportunities to have more comfortable lives.
SM City Fairview which is located at Quirino Highway, Regalado Ave., Novaliches, Quezon City offers pure shopping indulgence on all of 200,000 square meters of space. It has the well-loved SM mainstays like SM Department Store, SM Supermarket, SM Foodcourt, state-of-the-art SM Cinemas, National Book Store, Watsons, Surplus Shop, Appliance Center, Ace Hardware, Toy Kingdom, and Our Home.
The mall also houses Ace Builders Center, The Event Center, and the Palm Strip with its row of palm-fringed restaurants and a stage where some bands perform. Boasting the biggest atrium of the SM malls, the Annex building also home to more shops, including a whole floor of beauty shops and skin clinics designed specially for the shoppers convenience.
Thus being said, this is where SM City Faiview recently launched Q Art Exhibit using the QR code technology. The most interactive and digital way to connect with the loyal shoppers.

QR Code is a type of 2D bar code that is used to provide easy access to information through a smartphone.
The smartphone’s owner points the phone at a QR code and opens a barcode reader app which works in conjunction with the phone’s camera. The reader interprets the code, which typically contains a call to action such as an invitation to download a mobile application, a link to view a video or an SMS message inviting the viewer to respond to a poll. The phone’s owner can choose to act upon the call to action or click cancel and ignore the invitation.
This is the first mall to showcase informative contents, cool images, funny lines, promos and freebies from its dining tenants and other stores in a very innovative and tech savvy way.

Everyone can enjoy the Q Art Exhibit which is perfect for the whole family who loves to bond using their smart phones and even group of friends!
Customers get to enjoy awesome treats by scanning over 200 unique QR codes found in various places in the mall and in the different art installations at the atrium. Interested participants can also share or save the different contents using their smart phones.
Freebies and discounts awaits with each QR Codes and you can redeem it at the mall as well. One of the partner establishment is La Lola which is located just a few steps away from the Atrium.

Q ART at SM City Fairview is currently running till June 2 and will continue to run in SM Novaliches and SM San Jose Del Monte in July 2017.
